A very good state park with lots of camping sites, hikes and trails. I also love the touristy lookout.

Beautiful river bluffs. Trails for every level. You can see for ages from the lookout. Missouri is beautiful. The Missouri river is huge! Tobbaco barn is interesting. I wish they didn't use it for storage.

What a beautiful park and trails. I didn't even know Weston existed until my husband found the State Park online. We love hiking and kayaking and we were looking for a new place to visit. This place is a diamond in the rough! Must go!

Great dog park, with a water fountain. Well maintained public areas with lovely, shady established trees. A great option to have A picnic or a quiet walk.

This is a beautiful place to go hiking and explore nature. Even though it's a bit of a drive, we like to come out here to get away from the city and walk some trails. There are a few different trails ranging from paved, dirt, long, short, easy, and hard. The overlook is also amazing.

We took the short paved trail because I am handicapped. It was a beautiful path with blooming wild flowers, green trees and lots to see. Our granddaughters were entertained and they are pre-teens. We met a nice couple up on the out look. They were picnicking with a great view.
There is a longer trail for hiking to the lower observation area. This trail is not paved and has a downward grade, too steep for me or any handicapped person to manage.

This is a very well-maintained park. We stayed here the weekend of July 14, 2017. We had a 30 amp RV site which provided trees for shade in walking distance from the shower facility. It was a very relaxing and quiet. Our dogs enjoyed the dog park my daughter had her first official camping experience. I think this park could use a few recreational items for children like a playground or something. We enjoyed our stay at Weston Bend and recommend it to anybody looking for a peaceful weekend.

Park access was great and well marked but everything does close early. That may be a state requirement but it would be a great place to take some night photography if it was able to remain open, even partially

A nice little campground. We stayed in #34, in a 37' 5er. The site was big enough, and level. The sites are private. There is an off-leash dog park, but it doesn't seem to get used much. Looking forward to our next visit.

I liked this park. The overlook is awesome and the free telescopes are a nice feature. Stayed two nights at the campground. Clean restrooms and showers. The laundry facility is a feature that would have been very nice, had I needed it.
Only down side is that many of the sites don't have room to set up a tent. If I had a pop-up or a camper wouldn't be a concern, but as a tent camper, I could have been out of luck.

Visit the Overlook anytime and be awed. Hike the 2.25 mile (blue trail!) or the shorter 3/4 mile yellow trail for a nice bend-view and ridge vista hike. Labeled plants and well kept/marked trails.
