Westland Friends Church is a member of the "Society of Friends" - better known as Quakers. They are a small country church, located only a few miles southeast of Greenfield, IN. The members range in age from young children to senior citizens and every where in between.
The Meeting was established in 1840 when Friends from Walnut Ridge Meeting located near Carthage, IN - moved into southeastern Hancock County.
Currently, the church has an active men's, women's, and children's groups. Wednesday evenings are for "Food and Fellowship." They hold a variety of activities throughout the year - including their annual booth at the Riley Festival, and their annual Trunk or Treat. The congregation hosts special services on Easter and Christmas; however, you will frequently find them doing something unique and special throughout the year.
