We have lived here for almost 3 years and have loved it - not a single complaint. The staff is incredibly friendly and responsive, and the units are extremely nice. This place is tough to beat as far as renting in DC goes. Were we not moving to another city, we certainly would not be moving out!

If there was a 10 stars option that' s what I would rate this apartment building.. yes, it is expensive but you get in return what you pay for.. Wonderful location, clean facilities, rooftop and a pool with amazing views of Georgetown and the city.. and most important amazing people who work here. The concierge, the leasing team, and all the staff will take the extra mile to make sure you are satisfied, feel safe, and they are all wonderful. From day one till now West End 25 has been an amazing place to call home. Thank you very much!

Great place to live!! Best in DC!! Has everything, pool, super cool terrace, security, fun neighbors. GREAT GREAT location. We lived here for 4 yrs and if there is ONLY one thing that is negative is the COSTbut you GET what you PAY FOR.

The building is lovely, however, when you move out they hit you with numerous extra fees. For example, one month after you move out they will claim that there was damage to teh carpet and they will charge you with complete replacement of the carpet for the entire apartment. They will no longer have the carpet for you to inspect. If you do not pay the thousands of dollars, they will report you to a credit reporting company to ruin your carpet.

Also, if you go to a month to month lease, the rent will increase approximately 40 - 50%. For example, a $3000 apartment will go to $5000.

Finally, like many large buildings, the rent takes a significant increase after the first year. A $2400 apartment will increase to $3000.

Please do not move in here.

I visited this place twice to ask about studios/1 BRs. The first time I didn't have luck to have a tour visit as the leasing officer was busy. However, in my second visit I had a really bad experience and disappointment. The service provided by Carlos was everything but professional. He acted like we has not interested in attending us. I asked to see a studio and he rush over the corridors and didn't show any interest in giving us information. I have been seeing more places to live, and all the staff was kind and professional, but this is the first time I have such a terrible experience with a leasing staff. I hope the management of Westend25 give him a training on how treat people. At the end of the day his work is to sell the building as a nice place to live, not the other way around.
