They got us in on very short notice and were thorough and kind in treating our sick pup. Even though the diagnosis was a bit of guesswork because of her intermittent symptoms, they provided us with treatment options and our girl seems to be on the mend already!

West Gate Veterinary Hospital has been our go to veterinarian for our personal pets (birds, cats and dogs) and all our wildlife from Big Bend Wildlife Sanctuary. We have worked with many veterinarians (Dr. Carter, Dr. Bragg, Dr. Barnes, Dr. Brooks and others) from West Gate Veterinary Hospital over the years and have always been treated with respect and compassion. Their staff have always been personable, courteous and kind and a joy to work with. Thank you for being honest and caring individuals who appreciate the love we have for our pets and other animals in our care. We appreciate what you do for all the animals and the compassion and kindness you show them.

I had a VERY IMPRESSIVE first visit with West Gate Vet Hospital! The receptionists were very professional and answered all my questions. The technicians and doctor alike treated my dog with love, care and understanding. She was not nervous and scared as usual when at the vet. They were very thorough and professional and made sure they took the time to explain everything to me. I will definitely be bringing my fur babies back!

Short wait time upon arrival. Wonderful staff. Assistant and Veterinarian explained in detail any suggested labs, tests, and treatments along with upfront disclosure on their costs and benefits. I wouldn't choose another vet in town.

This place is the best. I am impressed with how amazing the service, staff, and Dr. Carter are. They went out of their way to get my puppy an appointment at the last minute. I will be bringing both of my dogs there from now on, and I would recommend them to anybody.

I have been taking my pets to Dr. Carter from day one when he arrived in Enterprise. Dr. Carter is a very thorough, compassionate & patient veterinarian that understands your pets aren't "just animals", they are family.

I love this place and so does my beagle, Daisy. The techs and doctors are honest and straightforward, and try to be as helpful as possible. I appreciate the help I get with my rambunctious furry child!

After my dog got into a scuffle with another she was in and being treated in less than 15 min (including drive time). The staff was very friendly and professional and moved at a pace Zoey was comfortable with. Definitely coming back for any further vet services.

I just got hung up on by the receptionist when I was asking what to do about my Dog getting clawed in the eye, I was sure it was due to bad reception but now they wont answer with an automated voicemail saying they are closed at 6pm. It is currently 5:39pm on a MONDAY! What the heck if you dont want to help be an adult about it!!! You could atleast tell me the extended hour Vet clinics for Goodness sake!

The amazing staff at West Gate Vet on numerous occasions took exceptional care of our Spuds!! But they not only are good with the animals, they were very helpful emotionally with my husband and I when our buddy was diagnosed with Lymphoma! They were there for us & Spuds from the beginning until the night we had to say goodbye to Spuds!! I would highly recommend them to every person in the area! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

My dog got sick out of the blue, West gate took us in on an emergency appointment even though they were fully booked for the day. The vet was very sweet and took the time to answer all of my questions. What we thought was just an upset stomach turned out to be a much more serious problem. I will be taking my dog back to West Gate no question. They are thorough and very accommodating.

The bill was higher than I'd have liked it to be, but my pets health is important to me and the fact that they made it a priority for them was comforting as well.

Our dog had surgery to get a femoral head removed. I came in to pick the dog up with my wife and was presented with a $580 bill. When my wife originally dropped the dog off, my wife was assured that it would cost no more than $320. When I asked the girl at the desk why it was so much, she looked and realized that I was being double charged for x-rays that I already paid for. But that still left us with a $460 bill. I asked why it was still so high and the girl claimed the surgery took longer than expected. I asked why they told my wife it would only cost $320 the girl said that either I was lying or that she was just a confused wife. Then, we went to pay for half, but their magical math had us paying $290 which is obviously not half. It took three girls ten minutes to give us three separate answers. Why are these people involved in the billing process if they can't do basic math? We paid and they said my dog had to come back to had his stitches removed my dog has no stitches. They used surgical glue. They said the nonexistent stitch removal would be free, but when I called they said I needed to come in for a check up trying to charge me even more money. Well, we get our dog home finally. They said he would be walking fine almost immediately. Three days later and he still can't put any weight on his leg. The entire process from start to finish could not have been messed up anymore. I wouldn't recommend West Gate Veterinary Hospital to my worst enemy.
