Doctors and staff are great however, place is old, run down and dirty. Excellent Bloodless Medicine program and that is why I continue to come here. ER is usually crowded and long waiting times to be seen is unfortunately the normal experience.

Front staff at ER couldn't find patient dispite telling her it was a recent trauma patient via ambulance. Place needs a good cleaning. Restroom in the outpatient surgery smelled of urine. This was not my hospital of choice. Very displeased. I wonder if ambulance services are partial to the hospitals the take patients too.

Literally the worst hospital I've ever been in. Been here 10 hours with them saying we were going to be put in a room on a different floor. Still nothing. Will not bring an extra chair or anything we have asked for. Night shift is awful except for Nurse Karen and Nurse James. The lady at the desk in Trauma ignored the call Nurse light. We pressed the button & watched her turn it off 5 times. FIVE TIMES. Dirty. Nasty everything. No toilet paper in the bathrooms. horrible experience & pathetic excuse for a hospital. Wish I could leave NO stars.

I don't leave reviews at all but when someone ask for water at 5:30am and was told "let me check with your doctor) 7:45am rolls around I get NO water now that I am hyperventilating in the lobby they proceed to give me water. I will not complain about the "Wait time" any hospital you go to be prepared to WAIT especially over night crew, so I wasn't upset about that. But just not giving someone water after they requested it twice is not a good look. Hell, once I get discharged I gotta go back in to get checked out for dehydration! Not cool wellness! My doctors and nurses were cool!

This hospital is the ghetto hospital of Atlanta. The employees are rude and unconcerned. The fast track area is a joke. Take my advise. Go to Emory or Piedmont. And don't come to this hospital at night without protection. It's in the hood.

My husband went to this hospital in extreme pain. He waited 7hrs for them to forget he was even there. It took me to go to the front desk to tell them that we were still in the waiting room waiting. I don't understand how a hospital can be so unprofessional. The doctor never came back to even give the results from the lab or the ct scan. i say this has to be the worst hospital I have ever been too and i wouldn't recommend anyone to go here. The bathrooms in the waiting area was disgusting. Their process of taking you back and sending you back out in waiting room need to be handled a little better, so that the patient is not forgot about.

I went into labor here and my experience was the best I have ever had. They were very professional and sweet. They really took good care of me and my needs They made Labour and delivery seem so easy. Thanks so much. I am really grateful and happy . I recommend ATLANTA MEDICAL CENTER FOR EVERYONE. THEY ARE THE BEST.

Although the emergency room public bathroom was horrible, dirty, the sink and toilet needs to be replaced, the medical care was spot on. Thank you Nurse Devon for attending to our needs for the 7 hours we were there, and Dr Ramirez the orthopedic doctor , for her care, compassion, and excellent diagnosis. We just came from our follow up with a foot and ankle specialist and he confirmed all the information Dr Ramirez gave us last Tuesday. I hope I never need emergency care again, but I will not hesitate to go to Atlanta Medical Center.

If you can, avoid at all costs. My fiancee was transported via ambulance here after being in an accident. I arrived there and parked in the garage, not thinking about it. Upon being discharged, we asked about validation. They advised they do not validate, even for patients bring administered! Really? Who does that? I was not looking to pay for parking and asked the parking attendant about validation, and he gave me the time and hours to the "business " office to discuss this and vpice my complaint! Unreal! The nurse he had was really nice, but other than that, the treatment could be a lot better on the staff' s behalf also!

Brace yourself in case you get stuck with Nurse Tom, the middle aged white guy. He used the wrong size needle on me and made me bleed all over the bed. He couldn't remember anything and he was so retarded he put in an extra IV that was not necessary. The doctor was out to lunch as well and forgot to listen to my breathing, life or death for me. On the upside, the patients are a better class of homeless people than Grady.

The Midwives,nurses and everyone from the emergency room to the labor and delivery unit to the mom and baby floor have been incredibly sweet,understanding, gentle, patient, knowledgeable and kind they knew all the right things to say and do as i came in minutes from delivery! These are incredible women that have cared for me and my child throughout this journey. They encourage all of your choices and your birth plan even when you give up on them because of fear and if you absolutely change your mind they will keep you well informed on all procedures and what they entail. They got me my lotus birth all natural even when i thought I couldn't do it they encouraged me and supported me and I did it thanks to them! First time mom's and beyond I highly recommend this hospital if you are looking to birth naturally and be encouraged in that decision and process. The facility is not the newest but they work hard to keep everything clean and comfortable constantly checking in everyday to make sure everything is up to standard! This is a great hospital and that's coming from someone who was deathly afraid of hospitals and would normally be ready to run out. I hope they never change their practices and continue to allow and encourage mothers to birth without fear and in as much comfort as possible, I could rave on but would be here forever I love this team of women, I trust this hospital and am forever grateful.

My husband came in via life flight as a trauma patient. The care we have received has been top notch!! From the ER staff, nurses, patient care techs, trauma team, orthopedic surgeons, housekeeping, to room service we could not have asked for better treatment. Everyone is thoughtful and caring and truly concerned about meeting your needs. I'm so grateful for everyone we have worked with during our stay! I love the teaching hospital aspect as well.
