  Room was clean, bathroom was small. There was no safety bar in the bathroom. I have a mild case of cerebral palsy so this concerned me. The furniture looked a little like good will finds. Bed was not comfortable. No extra towels or pillows. Cleaning lady was very sweet and recommended a place to eat which was very good. The town was small and quiet. I would stay again.

  Owner/manager is a real turd. By far the worst "human being" I have dealt with lately. Rooms smell like moldy armpits and burnt hair. I wouldn't stay here again for any reason. Not worth the money at any price (and it isn't exactly cheap)

  If I could give zero stars I would! DONT EVER GO HERE THEY HAVE BED BUGS!!!!! I bagged all my clothes bought a new pair slept in my car, apparebtly the bed bugs got in my shoes because and hour into my drive home i was bitten all over my body!!!! Now I dont kniw if my vehicle is infested!!!! Please heed my warning and stay as far away as possible!!!

  It smells. There are bugs. Things are sticky. There are holes in the sheets which are also stained. Just don't. Just...don't. Go somewhere else. Sleep in your car. You'll be glad.

  Very UNFRIENDLY!! Not at all helpful. Very bad accent, hard to understand, then becomes rude when you ask to repeat. The lobby was EXTREMELY smelly. Rooms had a smell as well. Not very clean or maintained. AC didn't cool the room. Had a light that worked sometimes. Won't ever come back, that is for sure!! I'd camp out before ever coming here again. Also their website states pets are allowed. BEWARE when you check in they will try to suck more money from you by changing a pet fee that , of course isn't mentioned on their website!!! Have stayed at lower cost places that are much more nicer than here.

  The location and price are convenient and relatively inexpensive. That being said, it is a Motor Inn; you get what you pay for. The heating and cooling work well enough, but the bedding isn't really that comfortable. If you happen to have loud neighbors, you're in for a rough night.

  Please do not go to this motel they have bed bugs!!! I stayed at this motel 2 weeks ago and found two bed bugs and they had bitten my son. I went to the office to let them know that they have bed bugs, and he offered to refund my money, and also said that they have a exterminator that comes every month. They are aware that they have them but still choose to rent out rooms

  I am admittedly a very picky person when it comes to hotels so I was quite apprehensive about staying here for a weekend. I reserved a queen, non-smoking room at $85/night. When we checked in we were given a double bed, non-smoking room as they "didn't have any queens available that night" at no extra charge. The room and bathroom were much cleaner than I expected, although one chair did have a suspicious stain growing fungus that we bought clorox wipes to clean. The towels were threadbare and I did find a hair in one of the bed sheets. Otherwise the hotel was in prime location, within walking distance of downtown Blackstone, restaurants/fast food, and within 5 minute drive of WalMart and maybe 15 minute drive of Fort Pickett. The room had a dresser, nightstand, pull out dining table, desk, office chair, basic arm chair, side table, mini-fridge with freezer, microwave, and coffee maker in addition to the beds and lamps. Despite the issues, based on my current experience I would stay here again if in the area.

  The room was extremely nasty!!! The smell of the room was so bad it was almost impossible to sleep. I took several pictures of the dirty doors, floors and horrible microwave...I wish I could post them here, I plan to post them on yelp and anyplace else I can post them. The owner should be ashamed to charge what he does for such a nasty place....the place should be closed down. The health dept. will be contacted...it's got to be a health risk to be in such a dirty nasty room! The bathroom floor was disgusting! The towels were stained and smelled of sour milk....we requested clean towels and they were the same way. I went to town for a family even and every other motel in the area was booked, I had no choice but to stay there, I'll never stay there again. I wonder if the owner lives that way....I'm guessing he does since he is OK with charging people to stay in those rooms! I can't express enough how horrible the smell was and I wish I could post the pictures I took!
