Katie Knight is a lifelong Florida resident, born and raised in Florida. She spent most of her life in South Florida and moved to North Florida, Madison County in 2002 where she continues to live with her husband and two children. She volunteers for many local groups and organizations. She serves as a mentor for FLYCA (Florida Youth Challenge Academy) as well as the Madison County School Board. She is a member of the Junior Auxiliary, Student Advisory Council, and the Madison County Chamber of Commerce. She also serves as the president of the Lee PTO, the head of fundraising for many local non-profit groups and coaches’t-ball.

She started in the insurance industry in 2002 and very quickly decided that insurance was not a profession it was a passion. She has been the office manager and top sales producer for State Farm Agent Keith Hargrove in Madison, FL as well as the Servicing Agent of the location upon his promotion. Her drive allowed their agency to overcome the obstacles of living in a small rural community trying to compete with metropolitan agents, making them consistently one of the top three producing agents in the territory in all lines of insurance. She has devoted her success to providing quality customer service and establishing a personal connection with each and every one of her clients.
