Désarménien François is a moron and should not post false information. Current nuclear war heads are refurbished with Tritium gas on a regular basis. It is well accepted that thise power plant produced this gas as a biproduct and is one of the main sources of tritium gas to maintain existing nuclear weapons. Because Obama effectively crippled our middle defense program we must maintain our nuclear weapons as a detergent to nuclear war. This plant produced clean and cheap electricity. More importantly it maintains our nuclear weapons and thus prevents thermal nuclear war. We need to restart our middle defense program. Sadly that doesn't seem likely

Saying they make nuclear materials for nuclear weapons is totally false : materials producted in civil reactors are completly unusable for military uses and they have much more efficient methods to make it (which are the only ones used worldwide)!
On the other side, this kind of power plants are THE ONLY WAY to cleanly and positivly recycle nuclear weapons components.
    You should know that.
