Very nice, newly remodeled rooms. Very impressed with the quality and price. We booked rooms on line through a second party website. The location is perfect if doing business near the Capital or Union Station. They have an awesome bar and their grill food is very good with reasonable prices. There is also many other food and drink options within walking distance. I would recommend Cafe Berlin, excellent German food.

Stayed one night on a Saturday, hotel seemed almost completely empty. Room was large and very nice, but the staff were not friendly and brisque to say the least. Customer service was very weak- the front desk was just shy of rude. Very disappointing.

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around...

Beautiful view, friendly, concerned, and moderate distance from the Awaken the Dawn event at the National Mall. When we got there we were very hungry and at the front desk was a man who gave us rave reviews of area restaurants of different foods. The next day another man gave multiple ways to get to the mall. It's important to know what's going on in and around your business when visitors come asking.
The rooms were clean and hospitality checked in with us every day. The beds were very comfortable and the showers were hot and relaxing after the walks back and forth to the mall.
When situations arose they were not negligent but veery attentive to help us.

This review is based on my visit back in Late August. Pretty awesome hotel. It's about 5 minutes away from Union Station with a few convenient places around such as the Union Station food court, Wal-Mart and so-on.

Our room was nice and clean, very spacious too. The beds were great and there were vending machines in the hallway in the event that I wanted to get something to drink.

I would've given this place a full 5-star review, but after our 5:30am arrival, one of the employees at the door was telling us that we couldn't come inside until check-in time. We didn't know until the front desk told us at check-in time that we could've came in the morning and let them put our bags in storage, so that kinda messed us up. There definitely was some miscommunication.

Otherwise, pretty nice and convenient place to stay at if you can get good rates at a good price.

Horrible hotel. Customer service is mediocre. Rooms do not get cleaned. Walls are paper thin, we could hear word for word conversations of our neighboring room. They offer breakfast, we put out our card(and even called to let them know we put out the card) never picked up and were stuck without breakfast on a time crunch. $13 to print one piece of paper. $20 for internet (the 'free' internet) does not work. And the $20 version didn't work either. Key cards frequently don't work and have to go downstairs. Will never stay here again and regret it. Seriously reconsider staying here. They nickel and dime, which is obscene when you can go to a nicer hotel that costs less and includes more amenities.

Room was good. Front desk courteous. The only downside was two rooms next to me kept slamming their doors at 630am and was heard quite distinctly in the room.

The hotel is located conveniently (or inconveniently, based on the traffic when you arrive) in the heart of DC. With the Capitol visible from the street, WCH offers easy access to downtown DC. The conference rooms are newly renovated and offer a great place for about 200 people to meet. Guest rooms have been refreshed but show their age; the walls are thin and hallway noise tends to drift into the room through the thin door. Overall, not a bad experience given its location and moderate to high nightly rate.

The hotel is LOVELY! From nice rooms, to very cool(and clean) bathrooms, to a cool lobby and tasty food options. I was very impressed and would stay here again.

This is modern hotel close to capitol hill. Rooms are clean and spacious enough. They have nice large LG tvs on the wall. The heat and air worked well. There is an empty mini fridge in the room. Wish it had wine and sodas in it at night. The bar/restaurant isn't open during the day, but is at night. If you want room service, you have to go down to the bar to pick up your food yourself. Bed was pretty comfortable. I would stay here again if necessary.

Your money is being spent on the decor and location, the latter of which is admittedly great, but that's it. The wifi was spotty and would log out every 20 minutes. I had to reactivate my keys multiple times (I worked at a front desk; I know how to handle them). The outlets on one side of the bed didn't work. The ironing board was badly warped doubling ironing time as you are forced to move clothes around to the few flat spots. The ice machines were out of ice on the three floors I tried (it did not seem like the hotel was particularly busy), but it didn't matter because the tap water, something I drink all the time, tasted like mildew. There are surely better places to spend your $200+/night.

This was my second stay at the Washington Court and I was disappointed. My previous stay was better in terms of my overall satisfaction. Upon arrival I was assigned a room which when I got to realized it wasn't what I had reserved and paid for in advance. I called to the front desk only to be told that they didn't have any king suites available despite my reservation 6 weeks in advance. I questioned this only to be given a generic insincere answer. Upon looking at the room further I discovered numerous maintenance issues, photos if which are attached to this post. I went to the front desk personal and requested to speak with the manager who upon seeing the photos and my reservation preceded to put me into a King Suite miraculously. I did appreciate the ultimate customer service but when you have such issues I only think it is customary. When I return to DC I will be looking for other accommodations.

Conveniently located just down the street from Union Station. The hotel does not offer any complimentary coffee or tea, in the lobby or room. Luckily there is a Starbucks across the street. My room had been recently renovated and featured a wall mounted, large TV, with a decent selection of channels. The bed was very comfortable. There is a bar and restaurant located in the lobby area, but the dinner prices are a bit high for the area. Room Service is offered, but only until 2PM. After that, you need to eat in the restaurant, pick it up and head back to the room, or eat elsewhere. Back to the pricing, I just opt for GrubHub or something similar.
