Washburn University is a premier college in Kansas. Washburn offers college degree programs for undergraduate, graduate and law students.
Great place to go for college education.

I love Washburn! I’ve developed so many amazing friendships here, and the faculty and staff want the students to succeed. It’s small enough that you know a lot of people around campus, but not so small that everyone knows everyone. Perfect size, great people, and beautiful landscaping.

Great place to go for a college education! More than expected. Great CIS program with major steps forward and more steps to come!

I think Washburn is a great University to go to, wish it wasn't so far from Lindsborg.

It is horribly close-minded: having all those diversity groups and stuff doesn't mean it is a good, open school. The thoughts are limited. Most of the professors I had were extremely insecure as far as English dept went. The classes offered almost no challenges at all. Most classes felt like group therapy sessions. On top of that, most people there were not trustworthy or professional at all. Not to mention they pay student 7.25 an hr - should be ashamed!
Two star because I had one good professor. Otherwise I'd do one.

Attended Washburn my freshman year in college. When I transferred to a larger university to go into engineering, I was way ahead in my calculus and science classes.

I love the teachers in the hs department. I wish tuition was reasonable and wouldn't keep raising every year.

    Registrar and Finacial Aid Office

Can not be counted on to give reliable critical need-to-know information regarding your financial situation and enrollment.

IF you are making financial decisions / taking time off from work to pay bills or run errands / get school supplies based on the information given to you buy these offices - Forget it.

Do not count on them to give you the correct dates of when you will have access to student aid - do not make plans around their information - Plan as if you are never going to get student aid in the first place.

They consistently give out false information regarding when you will have access to student aid (various forms) with a facade of knowledge about the processes we are "hurry up and waiting on," then falsely make you believe when you will have critical access to financial relief.

I have personally can not afford to pay for the mistake and "lost paperwork" of this department

    - I ask anyone reading this to tread with great caution - and be weary of how "comfortable" they try to make you feel about how they are handling your education and financial future.
