I was unfortunately in an accident and Wasatch Auto Repair was called to tow my car since it was inoperable. My insurance company attempted to contact Wasatch Auto Repair for almost two weeks to have the car picked up and taken to the body shop, leaving messages multiple times a day without any response. I visited several times asking them to contact my insurance company. The whole time they said their phones weren't working. You're a business, fix the phones! Your fees go up $40/day! It seemed like avoidance was a ploy to collect hundreds of dollars in storage fees.

Ivan at Wasatch Auto is a SAINT!
While traveling over Thanksgiving weekend with small children and my 91yo grandmother, our vehicle took major damage from a large unavoidable rock on the highway. We couldn't find anyone willing or able to help get us back on the road, until we found Wasatch Auto.
Ivan and Izrael took us in and did a fantastic job with the repairs, gave us excellent communication, and did it all at a very fair price. Ivan even went out of his way to help us get to the nearby hotel. We felt as though we were treated like family.

Ivan and the team at Wasatch Auto Repair absolutely deserve the highest rating possible. I called late on a Saturday afternoon to ask if they could replace my truck's alternator. This frantic call was due to the fact that another auto shop in Park City told me it needed to replaced ASAP but they couldn’t do it until Monday. Ivan adjusted his schedule, made sure he had the necessary parts, and told me he’d help me out whenever I arrived. When I did manage to drive to Heber 30 min later, Ivan’s team took over and ran thorough diagnostics. It turns out the other shop was incorrect and pressured me into scheduling a service that would have cost me over $600! I just need to have my battery replaced in the next couple weeks. I then left without being charged (I certainly would have paid for the relief they provided) and cannot recommend Wasatch Auto Repair enough. Thanks!

Brought my son's car in to have them check why it was stuttering. Without calling they did supposedly $600 in repairs. When asked why they did the repair without asking they copped an attitude and claimed to have called, (My call history shows no calls or messages). Had them undo the repairs when I researched what was involved:
Mass air flow censor: $59 parts, 11 minutes to replace
Air filter: $69, 5 minutes to replace
They wanted to charge $300 parts and $300 labor.
Went to pick it up and they charged $150 for the diag, (ok, fine, that is what I expected to pay to begin with), but when they again claimed to have called and have logs, I asked him to show me and he told me to "get the hell out of my shop".
Went to start the car and the battery was dead. Real classy move there.

I can't say enough about this place! They do fast, quality, honest work. We broke down and had our truck towed here knowing nothing about the place, just that they could work on it. They could have taken advantage of us but they gave us a fair price and let us know right away how things were going (taking pictures and videos and sending them to us). They ordered and replaced our entire engine in a matter of days - way faster than we thought. And it's running great. They worked with our insurance and even worked out the tow to be covered. They covered our broken CV axle and filled up our truck. I wish we lived closer so we could always bring our cars here but I will be recommending Wasatch to anyone who lives in Heber or close to it, or who are visiting. Thank you!!!
