Description
As the Warner Theatre's on-site school for the performing arts, the Warner Theatre Center for Arts Education (WTCAE) is Northwest Connecticut's premier resource for arts education for ALL ages! The WTCAE offers courses in acting, tap dance, musical theatre choreography, hip hop dance, play writing, technical theatre and so much more. In addition, we provide private lessons in voice, piano, violin, viola, guitar and woodwinds. At the WTCAE, we believe that the arts are for everyone. Our programs include our after-school enrichment courses, adult education, our Summer Arts Program (state-licensed summer day camp), Daytime Performances for Young Audiences and the critically acclaimed Young Actors Series, where students have the unique opportunity to perform on the Warner’s magnificent Studio and Main Stages! Our educational programs are led by a stellar faculty boasting regional, nationwide and international teaching and performing experience, who love what they do: infusing a love of the arts into the hearts and minds of our students and community members!
