We traveled from Cleveland to this place about 4x this season. My son (almost 2) just loves it there! He stares in amazement at all that different animals & enjoys feeding them, too! The staff is very friendly, & knowledgeable about the animals.
We go here every Summer. Kids love it and it is fun for adults too. The animals all look very healthy and well taken care of. A really cool and unique activity for your family.
Loved it! There's not much room to put your stuff on the ride because the animals reach their heads under the benches to eat food you put there. (I would have left my purse and camera bag in the car so I wouldn't have to worry about it.) Also, the animals come up to all sides, but I think the people in the back have the best spot because some of them run after the truck to see if they can still get food (especially the camels-loved them!!!) The animals are all friendly and you can pet all of them, except the zebras and ostriches. However, if you are afraid of being so close, but still want to see the animals, there are benches in the middle where the animals can't reach. Definitely an experience you don't want to miss!
Lovely way to spend a couple of hours. We loved feeding the animals in the petting zoo area and on the safari. Great experience getting up close to so many creatures, especially the bison. We also enjoyed seeing several regular housecats!
We had such a great time! My 21 month old grandson had a fabulous time! The most amazing expressions I've ever seen on him! He didn't know what to think. Every part of the park is very clean. Being used to Northern Virginia prices, I thought it was very reasonable. Under 2 years is free. Adults are $17 (there may be coupons but I didn't have time to search.) You are transported through the park in a safari truck with a direct walkway onto the truck, no steps, everything was ADA friendly. No steps anywhere I can think of - all ramps. Great for grandparents! The animals come right up to the truck for you to give them feed. You can spill it on the floor under the seats - you will get your ankles licked! Or you can hold your hand up high and sprinkle it into their mouths. The driver is very clear on safety behavior. Amazing photos as camels stuck their heads inside to look for more treats! All of the other passengers were so sweet to my grandson as he waived and yelled bye bye as we left each section. I cannot even remember all of the animals we saw! It's amazing how many there are! Loved it and will definitely be back! Special thanks to all of the staff for making it such a great day!!
Great place to take your kids. Very fun and educational at the same time. The tour guide for the trail was very friendly.
Would definitely recommend to anyone.
Nice place to have fun with the kids and family . Very friendly place love it will go again. Thank you for a great time .
This place was super fun! The safari ride allowed you to get up close and personal with a ton of cool animals. Would definitely recommend to anyone, especially those with kids!
We have taken our kids there 3 years in a row. It is a great experience (except for those camels).
Fun times. Decent prices. Helpful informative staff. Family owned
Great place for the kiddos. Safari is the highlight. Kids loved the up close and personal interactions. Won't lie, I got a kick out of it too. The petting zoo was not that interesting by comparison, but still worth a look.
Baby, toddler, daddy, & mommy loved it! Especially the 10 month old. It was fun and interesting. Recommend getting extra feed for the safari ride. And don't be afraid of the animals. . They just want food too ! Lol. Bring all cash no debit/credit cards..
A very cool stop. Nothing real huge but a very cool experience with the kids. The bus ride was a very neat experience. I never seen those animals so close prior and to be able to feed them by hand. The whole thing including the petting zoo took about 2 hours. I'm glad I took the kids. FYI: cash only.
