I was born in the small town of Delta, Utah, the fifth of six children. Growing up I enjoyed riding four-wheelers, hunting, fishing, wrestling, and playing football. My high school love was a 1967 Ford Mustang which I restored with my father and loved to race around town. My parents owned a rock and fossil business that we all worked in growing up. I spent a lot of time working in the family business collecting geodes and fossils and working in our lapidary shop.
After high school I went to college at Utah Valley State College (now Utah Valley University). After my freshman year I took two years off to serve a LDS mission in Washington DC. When I got back I finished my bachelor's degree in business management. Shortly after that I married my wife, Nancy, and we now have four children. We have lived in Orem, Utah, since 2006 and really enjoy it here in Utah Valley.
My work experience began with an accounting and a controlling position in the auto body industry, but in 2004 my interest turned to real estate and I earned my real estate license. I started with investment homes, purchasing foreclosures and rehabbing them. Since then I've had experience with many aspects of real estate, including pre-foreclosures, HUD homes, working with investors and first time buyers, and selling luxury homes. I have completed my GRI certification which only 11% of all Realtors complete. I have also completed my CNE (Certified Negotiation Expert) designation, and my e-PRO designation. I believe in continuing education to help me continue to develop skills that will help my clients.
I truly enjoy working as a Realtor helping buyers and sellers accomplish their real estate goals. Contact me with any questions you may have.
