  We are filling FAST for the upcoming week!

  Dr. Erin (animal chiro) has a few appts left on Tues and Thur. Fri is currently full.

  Dr. Cat (animal chiro) is almost full on Mon, but still has some availability on Thurs. Her horse travel schedule on Tues and Fri is also almost full, if you have a horse in Genoa (Tues) or Oak Brook (Fri), we may still be able to add you on.

  Kristina (canine massage) is full tomorrow Sun, but has some availability 10:30a-12p on Tues.

  Mike (animal reiki) has some availability on Tues, and Fri is filling fast with just a few appointments left.

  Hope started animal chiro care due to neurological issues. She was found this way as a puppy. She wasn’t able to use her rear limbs to stand, walk, or run like a normal puppy should and would constantly hop with both rear limbs together when standing.

  It was also found upon x-ray, that she has a malformed vertebra in her upper back. Upon visual exam, you could see her back arch up abruptly where this vertebra was located. If that area was the cause, with her starting as a you...ng, puppy, we can start to influence her future development, and everyone has noticed that this area is much more relaxed and we can no longer see that abrupt arch.

  The first milestone I wanted to see was for her to start using her rear limbs independently in a walking gait. We’ve seen some glimpses of that over the past few weeks, but this update is simply awesome as she’s showing independent rear limb usage pretty much the entire time! Yay, Hope! 💕

  Animal chiropractic care is highly successful in neurological cases, where there is a lack of communication between brain and body and body back up to brain. It removes those “road blocks” so healing can occur to restore nerve flow. In a puppy with some developmental issues, it can also begin to induce more normal development. We have also included some animal reiki with Mike in her care plan, to help streamline her healing and support those nerve signals sending to her rear limbs. And little miss Hope, even though she’s a busy puppy with things to do, seems to enjoy both treatment modalities.

  Brandy has been receiving regular chiropractic care since she injured herself after she tried jumping onto the bed and fell. Brandy has been back to her normal self, except this Sunday her owner noticed she was holding her neck in a funny position.

  “Dr. O'Connor, you've never seen my wild boy like this. He was sooooo tired when he got home. He is an indoor dog but slept outside for an hour. He couldn't keep his eyes open for a picture ... lol! He was so excited to see you today. He pulled me to your room again but today he pranced around the room waiting for you. When you left, he sat by the closed door and stared at it. I thought he loved the treats but it must just be you. Thanks for making ...him feel better! 🐾💖🐾”

  Many pets that we work on figure out that their adjustments make them feel better, so they start to get excited for their visits! ☺️

  Dogs are also much more mindful to take time to rest after they get adjusted too! Many take naps or even relax the day away. 🐶

  We had some beautiful weather for an outdoor nap yesterday, too! Great idea, Bennett! 🐾

  Do you think Onyx enjoyed his massage today? 😴

  He was adjusted by both Dr. Cat and me (she did his neck yesterday for me and I got the rest of him today), then a round of oils down his spine, now a canine massage with Kristina. And I’m sure he’ll convince Mike to do some reiki on him tonight. He’s going to feel like a whole new man. 😎

  This happened 2 years ago, just before Easter weekend. Watch as this cottontail that was found by a client of ours, unable to properly use his back legs, responds to each of his animal chiropractic adjustments.

  He was originally going to take a trip with me to the wildlife center where I volunteer my services. However, after seeing what the problem was with his inability to hop around properly, I thought an adjustment may be just what he needed! 🐰🌷🌼

  Meet Hercules (mastiff), Noah (GSD), Olive (cavalier), and Rex (Boston). Today was their first visit with Dr. O’Connor! 🐾

  This fantastic foursome ranges from 10 months to 10.5 years. They have an incredibly awesome approach to their health and well-being through raw feeding, quality supplements, weekly swimming, fitpaws exercises, canine sports (everything from obedience to agility to barn hunt to dock diving to herding), AND of course animal chiropractic care! They are such a healthy, happy bunch because of it!
