First time we visited the trout company here in Monterey.. A great place to catch live trout and the person that helped us was great. I would highly recommend the fishing to anyone with young children who would be willing to have fun and catch lots of fish for dinner.

My son and I went to the maple festival and just ran into this place. They were serving trout sandwiches and I was told they only do that during the festival. They were excellent. My son got to feed the trout which was pretty cool. You could also buy smoked trout. It was a fun experience. I will be back with the rest of the family. The people were very friendly and informative.

Disappointing experience with the Virginia Trout Company's products so far. I purchased trout fillets, and they arrived several ounces less than the amount specified in the advertising. When I thawed and cooked the fillets, I discovered that all the ribs were left in the fillets, and I had to pick dozens of tiny bones out with a tweezer before being able to eat them. Even the dictionary knows that a "fillet" is supposed to be boneless.
