I frequent the Port of Virginia regularly and I can tell you without a doubt that this terminal is far better than Virginia International Gateway (VIG) and Portsmouth Marine Terminal (PMT). The human element here is huge, nothing is automated. The employees are respectful, helpful, and efficient. Usually I'm only here for an hour or less, but even when something goes wrong it's usually dealt with fairly quickly. The Port of Virginia could take a lesson from this particular terminal, truckers would much rather deal with humans than robots.

Most times at least 2 to 3 hrs waiting. They have good days too. But not as much as bad.

sorry, I don't care for spending 6 hours to swap containers. just wait until ALL these trucks are electronic log books. this place is worse the pathetic! ILA needs to move!
