I wanted to have a bump on my stomach from my previous lipo surgery smoothed out. I chose Dr. Desman because he provides Safelipo procedure that can correct un-even surface from previous Lipo procedures, He’s the only one who provides this procedure in Washington DC. The process went well. I am so happy that my bump is gone. I recovered very quickly compared to my previous surgery. Within 2 days, I could move around by myself, no bruise. It has been 3 weeks, my stomach is still sore, little hard and swollen. Even with this condition, I can tell it’s a big improvement. I think it will look at least 90% satisfactory,

I went to Dr. Desman because I wanted to improve my Breast size. After having 4 babies, I wasn't left with too much and decided to get Breast Augmentation. After doing my research, I decided to do an consult with Dr. Desman. My experience was excellent. He explained everything in full detail. Before going to my appointment, My husband was a little iffy about everything. But felt so at ease after the consult was done. I scheduled my surgery the following week with Dr. Desman.
My entire experience has been Amazing from beginning to end. My rapid recovery was the BEST!!!! I actually went to work the next day. No narcotics were needed or anything. I am soooooo Glad that I choose Dr. Desman for my procedure. I would recommend him to all my Family and Friends.report this review -

I'm a male that had some breast tissue as a teenager that always bothered me into my late 20s. Dr. Desman removed the breast tissue and my confidence is up, as well as my mood and overall happiness and wellbeing. Highly recommended. Never any issues throughout the 2 month process thus far. I wanted to improve my eyes. I had bags and it made me look very tired. I chose Dr Desman based off his ratings and reviewing previous patient pictures. The process was simple and surgery took a couple of hours.
Some swelling, but I felt great immediately following surgery. I love my new looks and I get complements on how bright my eyes look. I should have done this sooner. I will be back for lipo in the near future. Pleasant staff and all my questions were answered.report this review -

I have struggled so many years with having very large and very saggy breasts. It was about a year ago that I finally decided to do something about it. After meeting with several doctors who were rude and unprofessional, I finally found Dr.Desman When I called to make my initial appointment I spoke with Martha. Martha was so lovely on the phone and gave me the first available appointment. At this point I was hoping that my experience would be different since I had been so unlucky with many other doctors. Once I meet with Dr.Desman and he asked me what my concerns are, I told him I want to have a breast reduction and a little bit of my past history with my breasts and all the issues it had been causing me, back pain, shoulder pain and not to mention no self confidence at all etc. What actually surprised me was the fact that he took the time to actually listen to me. This was so important to me since I felt like other doctors had rushed me. When I was finally done talking and being emotional Dr.Desman assured me that his staff will take care of the insurance part and that's nothing I have to worry about. Then he started explaining the breast reduction procedure in detail and clearly so that I can understand what will happen to my body. After all they were still my breast it was important I know in detail what was going to happen to them. I must mention that on the same day he said if you were approved what size would you like to be. This make me so so happy because I had a choice I was not forced to be a B cup when I weight 190 pounds which other doctors said I had to be. Finally after about two weeks I got a phone call from Martha the office manger,and I was told that I had been approved. I was so happy and could not wait to have my breast reduction. Martha took care of making the appointment at the hospital gave me all the details that I needed for surgery both over the phone and also in the office. I had one final appointment before my surgery, Dr.Desman went through everything with me again which was great. I needed to be reassured by my doctor who was going to operate on me that I was going to be fine. Finally the day of surgery came. The operation was done at Mount Vernon hospital. I was so pleased that everything ran on time. All the nurses where extremely nice and compassionate. Dr.Desman was on time and again amazing he came in asked me how I'm feeling calmed down my nerves, did all the drawings and I was taken in to the operating room. I finally woke up after being in surgery for 3 hours. I literally had no pain apart from the fact that I was a little drowsy and numb. I was sent home a few hours later and my recovery began.After several days I met with doctor Desman again so he could follow up and check if everything was ok. I finally saw my beautiful, amazing perky breasts. I could not believe how wonderful my boobs were and how they made me feel. I had no pain my recovery was super quick and my self confidence has boosted. My breasts are exactly the same size and firm. The stitching is so fine and small I can barley see them. Everyone who has seen my new breasts wishes they had my boobs now. If you are looking for a doctor who is excellent at plastic surgery, compassionate and cares about what YOU want go and see Dr.Desman. I thank my lucky stares that I found him. Dr.Desman gave me back my life the only regret I have is I wish I had met him sooner.Thank you Thank you!!!

Great group. I would recommend them highly. I had Breast Augmentation, outer thigh lipo due to thigh shape differences and axillary breast tissue removed from both armpits.The process was very efficient. I have been so happy with my results. I will definitely go back to Dr Desman if I have any more procedures, contemplating tummy tuck and inner thigh lipo.

A - the office staff was Attentive, Amazing, and Answered all of my questions with much knowledge.
B - Dr. Desman is Brilliant in making one Beautiful! We are all beautiful, but his talent is Best in making the parts we want fine tuned Better!
C - Dr. Desman is Competent, Compassionate, and was Clear in explanations of procedures I was having, and addressed all of my Concerns while making me feel Comfortable.
I am so happy with Dr Desman and his office, and can't believe I waited so long to have the surgery I've been wanting for years. I also love my Botox and lip filler so much. Would recommend him to anyone and everyone, including my family members!! Thank you VCPS, for everything!report this review -

Dr. Desman's rapid recovery program for breast augmentation is probably the best thing around. I have had zero pain following his program and I am so in love with my results. They are everything I wanted and more.
His staff is fantastic and makes you feel so comfortable right away.

I had implants and a full tummy tuck 12 years ago and have been so pleased with both my care from Dr Desmond and his staff. Everyone was extremely informative and realistic In expectations so much that I am now a returning patient for a lift and thought of no one else to do it but Dr Desmond!!!

My experience with Dr.Desman and his staff was horrible. I had a breast reduction in August 2015 and everything was fine until January 27,2016. I tried to talk to his Adminstrator Penelope about my bill, she failed to send me a bill in the mail. She was verbally intimidating on the phone and was very rude and unprofessional. She told me I could not make an appointment to see Dr.Desman until my balance was paid in full. I asked to speak with Dr.Desman about my health issue that I have and she would not let me talk to him. I called to make a follow up appointment with Dr.Desman because I was concern with a lump underneath my breast and his Adminstrator Penelope failed to give me an appointment until I paid $360. As of today 2/1/16 I got an email from Penelope saying Dr.Desman no longer wants to deal with me as a patient. Dr. Desman failed to call me about this matter and my health. I would never recommend a doctor who only looks at money. Never trust a small office to help with your health needs. Dr.Desman do not care about his patients. Dr. Desman is unprofessional and his staff is unprofessional. Don't ever go to this office in Arlington, Va!!

Dr. Desman performed liposuction my thigh area. Unfortunately, he was just not experienced or skilled enough to handle this tricky area and the results were lumpy and saggy. I am now unable to wear a bathing suit or shorts and my self esteem has suffered to much that I don't feel comfortable dating anymore. Dr. Desman attempted to fix it with a second surgery (he only charged for anesthesia) but was unable to make the area look better, I even went to another plastic surgeon to see if anything could be done to fix the botched surgery but I am stuck with this.
I know this was an elective procedure and the results were not guaranteed. However, I really wish that Dr. Desman would have just admitted that he was not the right person to perform this procedure, or at least been more up front about what the results could be. I am now left with a deformed body for the rest of my life and a sincere wish that I had never met this man.report this review -

This is my second experience with Dr Desman. I originally chose him to remove my implants of 9 years becasue I was just not happy with the look. I researched seveal PS before settling on Dr. Desman.
After my removal, I returned a year later after weight loss and muscle toning. My poor breast were just skin and very little fat - therefore I decided to have my implants replaced. I know I presented a difficult case to Dr Desman; multiple implants (in/out), a scar from a mastitis, and lack of breast tissue. As always, Dr. Desman was truthful and straight forward, which is why I chose him the first time. He made me aware of my options and helped me make an informed decision.
After talking to a previous patient and researching, I selected silicone. Wow! I must say I am extremely happy with the results for the first time, I totally love they way my breast look.
I feel as though Dr Desman listened to me and cared about the outcome! My decision to use Dr. Desman was the best ever. I have recommended him to several friends and would not trust another PS.

A very bad Dr. who wants to collect money than caring for his patients. I went there to get a scar revision but after Dr. Desmon did the surgery , my scar was bigger than what I already had. He was reluctant to talk to me after the surgery. I don't recommend him to any one
