Excellent selection, wonderful layout and cozy atmosphere. The staff is very knowledgeable and enthusiastic.
A place of dreams, with a wide selection, good food and a very knowledgeable and caring staff.
Excellent beer selections both bottled and on tap. They also. Have good selections of scotch and whiskey. It does tend to get a little pricey but you are getting high quality drinks.
A really quirky place, in the perfect way. Like a library of beer with a bar attached. Pizza was great, and there was seriously the largest selection of beer I've ever seen. They even had a wine section if that is more your style. Staff were on top of service and very friendly. Definitely will be back soon!
I travel a lot and this is the best craft beer store I've ever found. I met the owner once and talked with him for about half an hour trading beer stories--super knowledgeable guy. His knowledge and love of craft beer shows in the amazing selection this place has.
Excellent beer selection, staff knows their stuff if you have questions! Also good place for pizza and sandwiches!! Beer is available on tap at their multiple bars inside.
Travel all over Ohio and this is one of the best places that I love to come back to. Great food, beer, and atmosphere.
Great atmosphere. Tons of excellent beer from all over the world. Wines, whiskey's, and meads. Excellent food, be sure to try their flat bread pizzas! A great place for a relaxing night out with friends.
Vintage Estate is a very good beer place considering the limited options in this town (although that's changing pretty quickly, thankfully). However, there are a couple serious problems with this place that a lot of people seem to overlook.
First, prices. They are high. Really high. On my last visit, they were selling 12oz. pours of Founders Harvest Ale for $8. That's a beer that should be no more than $6 for a pint. Everything they sell at their "main" bar is dramatically overpriced. The $5 bar is somewhat more reasonable, but they usually sell those in 12oz. pours too. Bottle prices are not much better, and they charge a $1.50 (maybe higher now) corkage fee to open any of their bottles for on-premise consumption. And it's a $5 corkage for a bottle of wine. That's tough to swallow, particularly when you're talking about a $15 bottle of wine.
The second issue is the age of the beer. Because they have such a huge stock, lots of stuff tends to sit for a long time. I've picked up (and subsequently put back) several pale ales & IPAs that were 4, 5, or 6 months old (sometimes even older). Beers like this need to be consumed fresh. Most six-month old IPAs will be shell of what the brewer intended it to taste like.
Lastly, storage conditions are not ideal. Again, because of the sheer volume of product, a lot of the beers sit out warm on shelves for extended periods of time. Now, there are plenty of beer styles that can handle room temperature storage, but many cannot and should not, and their flavors suffer as a result.
I like the idea behind Vintage, and I usually visit whenever I'm in town because of the limited options, but I have a hard time believing they need to charge the prices they do to keep the doors open. Combine that with the age & storage conditions of their inventory, and it makes this place a difficult one to justify continued visits.
Great place to go with friends! Flat breads are awesome and they have such a huge selection of beer and wine. The people who work there are super friendly as well. 10/10 would recommend.
More beer than you can wrap your mind around, let alone drink. I love the atmosphere, no televisions, just music playing. Great staff to boot.
Delicious and different food selection not to mention just about any beer you could want plus one heck of a wine selection. If you want to break away from the norm this is the place to chill.
I love going here. The food is good, the beer and wine selection is amazing, and there's occasionally live music. Great place
Salads are served on their awesome flatbread! One of my favorite places to go. Very unique from room to room. Normally I'd give 5 stars but greens in salad were less than desirable. This was a first.
VE has a fantastic beer and wine selection! They also have cute events like wine tasting. Their food is delicious and their staff is always very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly.
Not only will I return, but I have gone out of my way to do so.
An absolutely great place!!
