Menu is so vast I never know what to order - but I keep coming back.
GESOKARA is just fantastic fried squid leg. Awesome with beer.
The fried squid legs with mayo are the best! Great place to spend a Friday with friends - drink and eat all night long
Solid atmosphere. Good beef tongue yakitori. Lots of variety.
Sashimi bowl with extra uni for $3 more
Best izakaya japanese food in nyc. Late night or just for dinner and drinks! Good for groups. Gets very crowded so beware!
I love their hamashio - succulent, hot, salty clams. For the adventurous, try the chicken gizzard skewers!
何でもありそうですね。毎日でも、食べあきないね。
Must try the omusoba. Much like a giant egg burrito but twice as good
Best kimchi chiga on the planet.
Very good food but the short hair waiter has such a bad mood (he don't deserves any tip at all! So rude!) On the other hand, the long hair dude is very polite.
Sashimi bowl with uni mmmmhappiness
A step up from the St. Marks chaos of Yakitori Taisho and Oh Taisho - darker, more grown up, better food. Crispy fried squid legs, ikura don, sake.
If you're there with a few friends, split a 1.8L bottle of Kurosawa Kimoto sake. Great accompaniment for the cuisine!
Spicy tuna bowl! Fried squid legs! Beef tongue yakitori! Just do it.
Try the Fried Squid Legs
Get the deep fried squid legs. You can't go wrong.
Breaded scallops and shiso leaves. Grilled on skewers. Do it. Yesterday.
Order the okonomiyaki and watch the bonito flakes twitch.
One other few Japanese restaurants that have Yebisu beer and it goes well with hana-fry. Good izakaya.
