  * MY DOG WAS MARKED WITH A SERVICE ANIMAL VEST*
  
  Today, I walked into Vickery Cafe, with my Service Animal, in hopes that I could order lunch to-go. I had been there once before but was in too much of a hurry to grab food.
  Unfortunately, the woman at the counter demanded I show her documentation on my service animal. Which first off, isn't one of the questions that you're allowed to ask when handling this type of situation, and secondly, I forgot my wallet with her information, making it impossible for me to prove my service animal is, in fact, a registered service animal.
  She made it clear in front of several people that because there are "officials" that work acrossed the street she can't have my "dog" in her cafe without documentation- clearly breaking a civil law under the Americans with Disabilities Act, U.S.
  I was denied service, humiliated, and sent out into the rain.
  
  This the way she treated me was any indication of how they do business, I would think twice about giving Vickery your business.
  
  FYI:
  "Under the Americans with Disabilities Act, U.S. businesses that serve the public are generally required to let service dogs go anywhere on the premises that customers are typically allowed, with few exceptions. Failure to comply could cost your company serious cash: The Justice Department fines businesses up to $55,000 for a first offense."
  
  Q7. What questions can a covered entity's employees ask to determine if a dog is a service animal?
  A. In situations where it is not obvious that the dog is a service animal, staff may ask only two specific questions: (1) is the dog a service animal required because of a disability? and (2) what work or task has the dog been trained to perform? Staff are not allowed to request any documentation for the dog, require that the dog demonstrate its task, or inquire about the nature of the person's disability.
  
  Q8. Do service animals have to wear a vest or patch or special harness identifying them as service animals?
  A. No. The ADA does not require service animals to wear a vest, ID tag, or specific harness.

  Stopped in for lunch after riding our bikes on the Greenway trail and wow awesome sandwiches, wicked Joe coffee and a very friendly accommodateing wait staff we loved it and will definitely be back soon!

  Tasty sandwich, quick service, good price. A few tables, but most customers were taking things to go. Free wifi.

  Always fresh and soooo delicious you have to try the cape cod chicken salad, their most popular wrap. Might as well add a cup of soup too, I'm in lunchtime heaven.
