Make it a priority to visit this State Building and take the tour. It is worth the time and drive to get there. You will learn much about history and be taken to the Senate rooms to sit. Lots of national historical figures came from Vermont and you will learn about them.
Excellent free tour! We loved visiting this capitol. Only downside is the gift shop was out of magnets with the capitol on it.
We had a great tour through the building. It was calm that day, with our young three children, and they ran into the Lt. Gov's office, and she was very understanding and welcomed them in, and talked to the girls for a minute or two. Very cool, free place to visit! Beautiful grounds.
I loved visiting the Vermont State House! When I arrived on Saturday, I wasn't expecting to be able to go inside or take a tour, but I'm glad they were open. The docent was outstanding and the building, beautiful! I recommend stopping if you have free time.
Marvelous experience. Very friendly people made this an unforgettable experience. Exceptional architecture and artwork.
We went here on a field trip when I was in 8th grade. It was pretty cool and we also went to the other building next to the state house. The tour was good.
Being originally from Arkansas, it was nice to see Vermont's state capital.
The best capitol that I've ever seen (among Providence, Topeka, and Austin). Beautiful.
Beautiful State House. Was very impressed with the audio guide tour!
We enjoyed a visit to the Vermont Capitol especially because of the knowledgeable tour guide. A beautiful visual and learning experience.
