Veasey Memorial Park is a 47.5 acre park, owned by the town of Groveland and managed by the Conservation Commission. It is a non profit organization. All the revenue generated at Veasey goes back into the maintenance and upkeep of the grounds and buildings.
Veasey's function rooms are open year round. The historical building offers spaces available to rent out for various types of events ranging from weddings to community meetings.
Veasey park is also home to Groveland's favorite sledding hill, affectionately known as "Nun's Hill." Several trails are available for public use. Non motorized boating and fishing are allowed on the Johnson's pond, the 80 acre adjoining body of water visible from the trails.
The park is open from dusk until dawn. Tours to see the facility are set up by appointment.
