Description
The Virginia Commonwealth University Department of Neurology offers a three-year advanced adult neurology residency that trains 18 residents per year; six residents each at the PGY-2, PGY-3 and PGY-4 levels. All applicants accepted into our neurology program are also guaranteed internal medicine internships at Virginia Commonweatlh University.
The VCU Department of Neurology’s Division of Child Neurology trains three fellows per year — one from each PGY level. This program is 3 years in length. Prerequisite training outlined by the American Board of Pediatrics is required.
In addition, one-year fellowship opportunities in Clinical Neurophysiology and Neuromuscular Medicine are also available.
