Good college to attend, I only wish the cooks in the grill would wear hair nets .

I am speaking directly about the Radiologic Technology program at VGCC.
As a former student of the radiography program, I can say that it is a complete and total joke. The dean of health sciences is the most rude and inconsiderate person I have ever met. She is horrible with student relations and honestly the WORST instructor I have ever had. She loves to read directly off of PowerPoints and make students feel stupid for asking questions. I have seen her make students cry on two separate occasions. The clinical coordinator favors students and is incredibly inconsistent with policies and information.
I HIGHLY suggest you look into another community college If you are interested in Radiography!!
Almost every student I have spoken too agree with how terrible the program actually is.
The main instructor is great, he is informative, understanding, and kind. Only problem is you have to deal with the other two women that work directly with him!
If I could give them a lower rating I would
A very clean and easy school to get to.
I started going to Vance Granville community college right after highschool and finished in 2015 with a diploma in Medical assisting, it took awhile to finish, but it was worth it, great experience
Great college, would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good community college.
My son is enrolled in Early College here, and that has been really great. I've not fared as well here, mostly because the curricula changed right before I finished, not once, but twice, resulting in much wasted effort.
Got a good education and I loved all my teacher's!!!!!
The student body is a great group of people and tuition is affordable.
I have had a chance to teach here several times and love the campus. Great resources with a large number of programs. They have degree programs, continuing education programs and small business consulting as well as training. One of the most important programs for small businesses is the Small Business Center at the school. Free consulting available.
