  The caretakers/owners are absolutely lovely. The nightly rates are very reasonable.
  
  They have activities for kids and the family including miniature golf, playground and fishing.
  
  The facilities are very well kept, just a tad dated.

  I've spent many, many years here in the past. Over 20 in fact as a seasonal lease holder. At the time, It was truly a gem in the rough. It was always a nice, quiet, clean, off the beaten path, affordable and pleasant place to visit. Small, quaint, and very friendly. Always a great place to spend the summer. Never overly crowded. Ever since Woodalls got their foot in the door, and convinced the owners to join, it's turned into a commercial nightmare. Seasonal rates went through the roof, a ton of new regulations and fees, the original seasonal renters who helped build this place were soon priced out and forgotten, and the small, family oriented community atmosphere disappeared. It's now the normal run of the mill commercial nightmare you can find anywhere. Do yourself a favor, skip this place, spend some time and find a mom and pop campground, you'll find a much better vacation and camping experience.

  My Aunt Karen and Uncle Billy own Valley View Campground and I started going there as a baby. I spent so many vacations swimming in the pool, playing miniature golf, fishing, hiking, and spending family time around the campfire. The memories I made there are priceless and I highly recommend anyone reading this to not hesitate, book a weekend you won't regret it.
  
  Valley View is more than just a place to pop out a tent or park your RV. It's a place to enjoy spending time with your family, get back to nature, and become part of the extended family of the rest of us Valley View Campers and Aunt Karen + Uncle Bill. You will never feel more well cared for and I promise you even if I wasn't family I would have had the same experience.
  Can't wait to see you this weekend Aunt Karen, Uncle Bill, and Jane, love you guys!
