Working for this district has been a great and positive experience. Unlike the Perris district, this one is spending money to help students who cannot be in a normal classroom environment. Instead, the students who need special education courses and belong to the Perris district are either transferred to Val Verde or are just left without the help they need. My experience working with other employees in this district has been more positive than negative. Again, a few employees have been rude, but I let it slide. I work for the students, not so much the staff.
The staff its so rude. I live in front of school, so that's the school for put my Children, they told me that no have space. I'm not the mom who sit and wait, so I go to school and Yes they have a place for my kid. The personal in the school very helpfull, but when she call to put my kid on the system. They said they can't put because they have a list, and it's no suposed she guve me that's information. They are a liars. She told me that I need to put in other school or wait until they call the list. They don't offer transportation, for me it's hard because I have my daughter in high school, and the other in middle. The school they want to put, start at same hour of high. Incredible the kids need to wait until they controlled the system.
So far, the staff at the district are helpful & the school where my child attends is great! Never had a problem & don't find the schools ghetto at all. Instead, I find the schools in this district as well kept and students & staff are well mannered.
All there schools are ghetto. And kids are too wild. And i had a friend and his teen son went to a middle school and all the kids where on there phones and the staff does not recognize it
Awful. They care 0 about the students. The superintendent has no idea what he is doing. The schools are ghetto at best. Most other students are wild and don't know how to behave. Teachers are only bothered for their salary. Idiotic administration decides to spend their funds on solar panels instead of better tech, teacher supplies, etc.
Oh, and I see what the 5 star reviewers are doing. You can't keep making alts forever, Val Verde. Face the facts that YOU ARE TERRIBLE AND YOU SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN!
Morons.
This is the worst school district I've ever came by! Alot of the staff at the schools are rude and look at parents and a piece of crap. They don't care about any child and there needs, this school district is all aabout money. You have people that run a school that know nothing about the kids on campus. You have principles that are on the phone or half asleep during and IEP. They are really quick to call department of family Service on people when something happens at school and the parent brings it to the attention of a school employee. The superintendent is a joke and don't know what the hell he's doing. Nor does he meet with parents after emails and calls have been made in cconcerns of his school.. We the parents see everything they are closing there Eye on.
Worse district to deal with. We bought a house in a better area. Her homeschool was over filled. OShe instead got placed in the second worse rating school in the district. We talked to The admisnistrator in charge, I believe it was Dr. Rotten, he told us that there was no room in her home school and the was no other choice. We pay more in taxes, only to be told that we have to send our daughter to the dstrict's second worse. She has been in the GATE program three years and has received numerous awards includig the Superintendents Award. I would think that there would be better options for students that are improving the district's performance specially, when most the highest school rating withing the district is a seven. Furtermore, to make matters more shameful, Mr. Rotten, keep in mind he represents the district, flat out told me that most of their schools rated at 9/10. When I presented him with the facts he refused to address his facts and kind of called me a liar. This was not only his misinformation, when I asked him about a the Open Enrollment Act, he said that it did not apply anymore. When I researched the said Act, I did not see it as been repelled; instead it says that because of the change in ratings they cannot provide a list of the schools who have been identified as a "Need for improvement". It is shameful to me that some school administrators see parents as ignorant. Mr. Rotten represents the district; therefore, his information should be based on the real facts and his manner of dealing with the issues brought upon him should be professional. I have dealt with him twice and both time have been extremely discouraging. I just wonder why the district keeps administrators like him. Last, i would like to say that there are some awesome teachers within the district, also some awesome administrators but in 10 years of dealing with them, I would tell parents to look for a better district. This district is more occupied with pleasing the teacher's union than the overall performance and success of the students. I have dealt with them ten years and I stayed so long because we had a decent school that i loved, we had no other option, I was not well informed in many of the educational plans, now that I know, I definitely urge parents to look for better districts.
