Wonderful place! Amazing views and cozy cabins! The owner builds and works on these places herself! So it's very home away from home, right on the river you can fish in, quiet, and all around good feels. Minutes from the downtown family fun or night out on the town.

Was not what I expected. I was looking for more of a smoky mountain view that was actually was in chattanooga . Not around chattanooga away from the mountains . I was in a small town called ooltewah.( Didn't find this out till they get payment and send you the address) . It said it was private location . But it had lots of cars going by on the other street next to the house , sounds at night like people riding around on four wheelers through the yard when trying to sleep. It was nice and clean, the so called cabin (more like a house on land by a creek ). I stayed at the Mill House . Please if your looking for mountains you are better off going to the smoky mountains . I wish I would of read someone's review before I spent so much money! Hope this helps .

What a quaint picturesque place to stay! We stayed in the Liitle House on The River and it was just a wonderful place to stay. The cabin was clean and well kept. The deck looked out over some of the most beautiful parts of the Tennessee River. It's a short drive to downtown Chattanooga and all of the fun things to do there while feeling like you're out in the country there at the cabin. There are rules to follow about how to leave the cabin (trash, linens, dishes and the like) before you leave to go home but it's so worth that little bit of effort to stay in such a great cabin and in a fantastic location. I will be back again and again!

We stayed at the Shawnee for one week to get ready for our daughters wedding at the Grandview Lookout Mountain. The Shawnee was large enought to fit all of the traveling out of town guests and offered a spectaclar view of the river. We fished and caught a couple of large catfish, had a great bon fire, enjoyed relaxing evenings in the hot tub, and had some wonderful down time in a normally hectic week of wedding planning. I would recommend Paula and her staff to anyone looking for great customer service and a beautiful cabin on the river in Chattanooga Tennessee. Thanks Paula we had a great visit. Deborah Lutz, Mother of the Bride and Owner of U&I Home Decorating and Stagingyou won't be disappointed with the cabin d'ecor it is filled with the setting of a great mountain cabin.
