Great service. There are significantly more to acupuncture than meets the eye. Stress relief, back pain, nausea, anxiety, and much more all can be specifically targeted by this practice. I had developed some intense carpal tunnel at one point the last few years, and after a couple 45 minute sessions, it like a glove coming off my heads in which I was able to feel much better in my fingertips and move my wrist without much pain. While it was not the only treatment I attribute to me overcoming this condition, I find my hands always feeling better after each subsequent visit. The sliding scale is great for me as a student, the hours are flexible, you can stay as long as it is open (some people stay for hours, I usually do 1 hour), and Dr. Lorr is very knowledgeable about where he targets each treatment depending on what you tell him is bothering you. Can't suggest this place enough for treatment and as a stress reliever.
Very relaxing, nice staff, comfortable chairs and nice blankets. I like you can set a time to stop on the blackboard, so you don't have to be interrupted.
I don't live in Illinois anymore but every time I am in town, I still make it a point (Ha!) to come in for a visit. Jim is patient and caring and I always leave feeling better than when I came in. Especially helpful for stress and pain relief.
Jim is such a good egg. Everyone here is very kind and gentle. I have been coming for a few months and when I go consistently I feel so good. The atmosphere is so relaxing. You just get in an armchair and float away!
Friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable environment. Attentive acupuncturist. Affordable price. I have received treatment for specific needs and have gone just for relaxation. If you've never tried acupuncture before, this is a great place to see what it's all about.
