The mission and purpose of the Urban Core Community Coalition, Inc. (UCCC) is to promote the social and physical welfare and defend, advance, and promote the interest, common good, and general welfare of Miami's urban core. UCCC's area is bounded on the east by Biscayne Bay west to the I-95, south from Rickenbacker Causeway north to Mid-Town. It covers all residential buildings and businesses on those roads, and any adjacent areas wherever common problems and concerns exist.The specific matters of interest to UCCC include, but are not limited to Education – Access to high quality schools in the Urban Core, Safety & Security (Police & Fire) – Access to a safe and secure Urban Core, Homelessness, Transportation/Pedestrian Safety, Infrastructure, Climate Change/Sea Level Rise and other "Quality of Life" matters as they arise.In order to further our goals, purposes, and objectives, UCCC looks forward to forging and/or joining alliances with other organizations and or stakeholders with similar goals and interests.
