Dr. Tung is a an amazing doctor and saved my father's life. He is very skilled and is excellent in communicating everything on all procedures. He is truly one of the best and greatest doctors out there. Highly recommend and greatful to have crossed paths with him.
Just returned from my appointment with Dr. Tung. The entire experience was amazing! The office staff and his assistants were very professional and knowledgeable. The stay in the waiting area was a short one. Once I was able to meet with the doctor things got even better! The man has fantastic communication skills and did not seem rushed to get me out if his office. All my questions were answered thoroughly. Dr. Tung made an effort not to speak in medical terms but to use common language to explain my concerns. I cannot say enough good things about him and his office. Strongly reccomend seeing him if looking for an electrophysiologist.
He was condescending and concluded his diagnosis in spite of the information I provided. His assistant did not thoroughly explain that an injection he recommended could often make the underlying condition worsen.
Dr. Birnie is not a good physician. He made up his mind before he even came into the exam room and saw me that I was an older individual that could not possibly have athletic pain issues. I heard him outside the room telling his student doctor that I was old and couldn't possibly have muscle issues affecting my hip. His student doctor was much more attentive to my perspective and the real problem, thinking beyond the text book age issues. Dr. Birnie just chalked up my pain problem to age and spine arthritis.
Dr. Birnie is a very good listener and is also very respectful. He listened intently to all of my symptoms and pieced together what was wrong. He explained the issue in my hip and gave me a clear plan on how to fix the issue. One of the best interactions I have ever had with a doctor.
