Diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic adenocarcinoma and possibly 9 months to live, I spent many weeks of chemo and daily radiation treatments at the UT Cancer Institute. I was treated like royalty by my Drs., the many nurses who cared for me, my dietician, the technicians, and also the secretaries. I was well informed every step of the way, handled ever so gently, and was given much love and compassion by every single person I interacted with. I also greatly appreciate that all of my questions were answered with much detail, and that when I cried or was afraid, the nurses actually held and petted me till I regained my composure. I am now cancer free, and I will never, ever forget the wonderful care and the great love given me by these very special angels.
