The bad: No proper showers, hot water stunk in the sink, the cold water smelled like rust. Muddy camping spots , low celular signal, no 15 amp. Camp store closed on a Wednesday afternoon.
Good: decent laundry room, and a nice Hispanic employee helped us find an adapter for outlet.
The resort part is missing on the equation but you will pay the $4 resort fee.

Been here twice in the last few months. A variety of different types of sites based on your preference. One visit had a breakdown and they charged me a minimal fee to keep my camper on site until my truck was repaired. My only gripe would be the site I prefer is a great large site close to the river, but it sits on a hill and is impossible to get the camper level. A little bit of work to the site would make it much better for campers.

We had a very nice camp site. There was a picnic table and fire pit available for our use. We enjoyed how quiet it was at night.

Just returned from a weekend of camping, can't say I will ever return. For what they get a night for camping, there was no security due to the security gates not operating, only cold water showers, many all night parties, no regard to posted quiet time after 11pm. Bathrooms not clean, by Sunday some toilets would not flush, If you wanted a clean toilet, my best advice would be take the one with the less flys. The worst offenders were the seasonal campers in our area.

This is our favorite place to camp for the 4th of July. They have daily activities for kids and adults, the atmosphere is pretty laid back with the exception of a few grumpy seasonal campers now and then. The pool is always clean. The bathrooms are campground bathrooms they have showers and toilets and they work just fine, keep in mind it's not the Hilton it's a campground. If the toilet paper is out just let them know they're pretty good about getting it done. The lots are a nice size for travel trailers and pop ups and even better for tents. Each site has a picnic table and fire pit ring. Water and electric hook up are available and we've never had a problem with it.

We stayed in a "deluxe" cabin for three nights for ~$150 per night. The amenities were stated to include showers, AC/heat, cookware, and linens. Upon our arrival, the shower was recently used and dirty towels were in the bathroom. The AC did not work. The cookware was present, but the stove did not work because the gas was not on. And no linens were present (we had brought some because a separate statement on their site said to bring own linens). Our truck got stuck on their SAND boat launch.

A summary of the attitude/energy of this resort can be expressed with this fact: the $12, broken WalMart clock costs $50 if it is moved from the cabin.

On a brighter note: pool, games, and beach are pretty cool.

The whole family had a lot of fun! There were lots of activities held by the campground, swimming in the pool and the lake, and fishing!

We stayed at Twin Mills for a weekend with a total of 6 adults. We rented one of their so called "Deluxe Cabins" for 6. The campground itself is relatively nice, many trees, the pool was fun, so was the beach, and the many games they offer (corn hole, Basketball, horseshoe etc.) The cabin, however, was terrible. It was dirty and super small. 6 people can somehow sleep there (if they really like each other) but moving around, or simply sitting together in order to eat or play cards/board games is not possible. The most annoying aspect was that everything there is super loud. All doors squeak and if you move around in one of the beds, you will wake everybody else up (I am not exaggerating). And "bring your own linens" means bring your own blankets and pillows. Overall, definitely not worth the money.

Bathrooms/showers are not cleaned well, or regularly, but the camp ground itself is a great place. Spacious sites, and fun things to do. Would recommend camping here, ONLY if you can surpass the lack of cleaning in the bathrooms.

Twin mills has a lot of great activities. There is a lake, two ponds, organized activities, and more. However, the management isn't great (constant turnover). If you don't have any issues while you're there, you'll have a good time. If your require assistance, your experience may vary.

I reserved 3 sites for a family trip. Upon arrival our sites were not mowed. The grass was shin high. Then the guy decided to mow the next day while we are trying to play games right by our campers throwing grass on our campers and cars and getting so close to our electric cords and water lines. We were informed that they are short on help and mowers. They could have mowed the spots that were reserved before arrival but didn't. Had to pay a resort fee with nothing to do. We camp her all the time and love it but was very very unimpressed with this weekend
