Very unfriendly station... there is nothing but a booth to purchase your tickets... I am lucky because it's almost noon and I get some shade...

A very nice, calm metro station. You have to purchase your tickets in an automated machine, and it is cheaper during the weekends.

Small Metrolink station with lots of parking lots safe and quite area. It feels like you are in Arizona desert nothing there . Bassicly Pay 💵, ride 🚉 repeat. We are customers who pays Money to Metrolink, City of Tustin, OC, ....etc. We deserve to be treated with respect as valued customers.

Great station with endless weekday action. Surfliners northbound will fly at a clean 90 MPH, so watch out.

Very bare bones station with no restrooms or staff on site. Has a nice parking structure & platforms. But again Tustin is still a small town. Gets the job done.

I was on the metro with my family, it was my aunt, my 12 year old and my aunts 4 yr old. We took the 9:08am train from Tustin to San Juan Capistrano. This was our first time ever on the metro. When our stop came up we started to make our way down stairs and my girls made it out the door but before we could. The doors closed on us with no way to reopen it! I pushed the open door button but it was not working. We didn't know what to do. This is not safe and we should've be advised of the fast exit. Our children where left at a train station alone until we could find a way back from the next stop!! Something needs to be done about this! Very scary

I had a desire come over me to edit this review, as to not be harsh critic.
This transportation center is amongst one of my few favorites. There are a few things to be known though, as some fixes could be made. As with any creation... First must come trial and error... Yet nothing will ever be written off as perfect.
The following comment I will stand firm on though:

*Who the H*LL would design a transportation center out in the middle of nowhere, and without a restroom for the public?!?!?!
There is a circle k just outside the center, but you are supposed to be a customer to use those restrooms. Although, I have never had a problem using without making a purchase.
The point is though, you should not have to leave the center to use a restroom, and to top it all off... There is a restroom for bus drivers only. WTF!!!
Now it is not a big deal if you are transferring to a train, as they have plenty of restrooms. For others like myself, it could be a big problem. I have an over active blatter.*
**Also, there is no security at this station. Not a big deal. Seems safe enough to me, but who is to say for how long.**
***One of the good things, which makes this one of my favorite transportation centers, the two soda machines that occasionally rip you off, provides two unused electrical outlets if you have a device in need of a charge.***
****There is one very important thing everyone should know. It was brought to my attention by a bus driver, and while I was charging my phone. The vehicle parking structure entrance/exit, all drivers need to be careful. The restroom for the bus drivers is right behind that area, although it has a mirror, and other warning signs that may not (-be enough-). One bus driver told me he was nearly hit by a car on two seperate occasions, and I myself have been witness as to how fast some of the people fly through that area. Just one more reason the place should have a gaurd on duty.****

Ah one of the few Metrolink only stations. Amtrak does not stop here, so every train you'll ride from here is a dry line, no booze sold on board. I've found that more often than not trains leave early heading south from here, but the northbound trains leave late. Probably more a product of the stations up or down the line. At least there is a pretty close gas station/convenience store. Most stations are nowhere near anything else, so if you miss your train or get there early you have not a whole lot to do. Not every train has a bike specific car, but each car will hold at least 2 bikes strapped in. I've seen many more piled on, but these were more emergency throw on's at the last minutes "all aboard" is announced. Thievery is rampant among many cyclists, but I've found that the commuter crowd tend to be a little more trust worthy and honest in that you shouldn't mess around because if you do commute, you'll see the person you wronged every day and life will be unpleasant for everyone. Heck you might even be banned for something like that. I don't know. The commuting crowd down to Oceanside is nice because it's the last stop and most everyone knows each other. Tustin's station is up high, right in the open during sunset. There is a Jack in the Box around the corner and due to recent construction I would suggest not venturing north on foot or bike. There is no sidewalk, no bike lane and all, but 1 lane is mangled. I wish this station had more shade and frankly I wish all the stations had some sort of up to the minute updates on status that way when I pull up on time, the train's not taking off because it left early like it did on me twice the other day.
