  Cute place with outdor seating is the only thing it has going on. There is a view of the water as long as parking isn't lining the streets which it usually is. No outdoor heating lamps though so it gets cold quick. Service is slow to just average at best. We had bread that was very stale followed with a single crab cake tht ws 13 dollars. We got the shrimp and andoullie linguine and shrimp and lobster salad wrap. The linguine was unbelievably greasy where it seemed like they cooked the sausage in a pan and dumped the entire pan onto the pasta. I'm talking spoonfuls of grease. The wrap had an unbelievable amount of mayo and giant chucks of lobster that just made the wrap completely fall apart. The waitress and staff were not sympathetic or helpful, but questioning us when we asked about how it was made. We were excited and drove out of our way for this place. Do not waste your time or money like we did on our last night visiting Rhode island for my birthday.

  Great place to relax and drink. Food was amazing ended up getting dessert also, very good. Extremely happy with the service will be back. The view was beautiful.

  A.J. Was incredible. Attentive, knowledgeable about the menu and specials. Food. Outstanding. Would highly recommend. Prices are reasonable. View .. ridiculous!

  The view was great but the food was terrible. The pizza tasted like frozen pizza cooked with microwave. The grilled chicken tasted the same way. The food needs to improve to match the view.

  I had the filet with horseradish sauce and mashed potatoes. One of the best filets I've ever had. It was delicious and the prices were very reasonable. I will definitely come back here again.

  The view is great, the food is amazing, and the staff are extremely friendly and efficient. The prices are about what you would expect for a nice restaurant that is right on the water. Highly recommended!

  Food wasn't that great, service is fine. Scallops didn't taste that good. Portion could be bigger for price. Cod was okay.

  GREAT EXPERIENCE .......
  
  From the moment my wife (Kristina) and I walked in the door. The hostess greeted us and explained how busy they were (the place was packed). She then offered that we sit at the bar or the hi tops. We immediately sat at the hi top and was introduced to Courtney. Absolutely, unbelievable customer skills. Lots of fun, and the food was fantastic. From appetizers to dinner. I had the peppercorn pork chop and Kristina had the lamb chops.

  The location is fabulous. It's right across the street fro the sea wall and you can look out over the water as you eat. The server was very nice and came around several times to make sure we had what we needed.
  We grabbed lunch there after a visit to URI on the recomendation of our tour guide. The food was very good, but the choice wasn't huge.
  A couple of things that were less than great; they didn't have blue cheese dressing that I requested (weird),there was no WiFi, and while that usually isn't an issue, there was limited cell service (1x), the tap system wasn't working, so I ordered a bottle of beer. Again, none of these are deal breakers, but with the location they could more.

  We had read some of the older reviews but liked the menu on line so we gave it a try. We were not disappointed. Jordan our server was great. The food and service was very good as were the drinks. We drove 45 minutes and it was wrath it. We highly recommend Turtle Soup and will be going back.
