  What words can I use to capture what being a member of this church has done for me, my life, my family and most importantly my soul. This is my home. This is where my friends are…no my family. I have learned about God’s grace and his great plan for me. I have learned how to have a humble heart and I am continuous learning how God wants to use me to his glory and honor. Pastor Whitakers sermons keep me captured and yes sometimes entertained and filled with laughter; with his lessons of God’s love, his expectations of us and most importantly how to reach people and bring them to Christ , and all the blessing he has waiting for us. The ministry of Strong By Faith has changed my everyday life. This incredible group of people have become my family and have changed my life forever. We are group of strong active Christians who quite simply “do life together”. I have learned how important it is to surround yourself with those of the same faith (equally yoked). This has helped me grow and nurture my walk with Christ to a place and a deepness it has never been before but one that I had always longed for. Not only has the Strong By Faith Ministry been a blessing for me and my husband but the countless activities the church has for my children has been a huge blessing as well. My five year old LOVES going to Sunday School every week and looks forward to each and every family/child activity that the church hosts. This is where her friends are too! Whether you are a long time Christian, a new Christian, or someone just seeking the truth you must come visit us and see what we have to offer. I assure you that you will be welcomed with open arms and find a place in a church where your spiritual growth can continue or begin.

  Went to a concert last summer and had a gerat time. The people were friendly and courtious. I would recommend Treasure Lake Church.

  Before moving to DuBois, my family and I visited a number of churches in and around the area. None of them "got the job done" in our opinion. When we moved into our new home in Treasure Lake, we heard there was a church in the Lake.
  
  We tried it and have been there ever since. The people are very genuine and friendly, the facility is clean and growing (more in a min), and the Pastor is awesome. Our entire family felt "home" the minute we walked through the door. You can't quite explain it, but when you come, I think you will know exactly what I mean.
  
  Since we have been attending, the church started a Gymnasium and Educational Wing called the Family Life Center. The building hosts a day care, classrooms, weight room, basketball and volleyball courts, and a common area with a huge kitchen area serving sandwiches, coffee, and desserts.
  
  This church is the BEST part about living in DuBois. Every week I feel encouraged, spiritually fed, and motivated to change. Two words . . . Try It!!
  
  I know you will love it!!!
