It was a very good hotel for what you payed for. They have a pool but I didn't see anyone it the week i was there. The views were not bad and the rooms/sheets were clean. Would probs stay there again if i go back. Needs a better breakfast. Like wouldn't eat the food there even if i was forced.
Scott was extremely rude and unhelpful. He charged me 50% more than what I paid to Priceline ($45 on $90 bill) and said that he is not paid enough to argue with me. What a great man he is!
No complaints here. I got in just after earliest check-in (4 pm), was checked in promptly. I asked for a suggestion about a place for dinner, and got an answer that proved satisfying later on (Black Pelican, about 4 miles north). The rooms were clean and the beds were comfy.
Clean room with a pool side view. It's nothing fancy but it is price friendly compared to other places in the area. It was the cheapest place we could find at the last minute but I'm happy we did. It's within walking distance to the beach. The a/c seemed messed up but still worked good. The only complaint I really have is that they need some more parking but overall a good experience.
Clean rooms with poolside accommodations. Right across a low traffic street from the beach. Service desk representative Diana was the most hospitable and courteous desk representative we have ever come across!!! For the simple fact that we dealt with her most of our stay we will be booking with Travelodge again in the future!!!
The mini fridge did not work properly. You do not have ocean view like they claim. Maybe on the very top floor. Overall it was a good place to stay. You only had to cross the street and a small parking lot to get to the beach.
It was very clean, breakfast was alright and the people were all very polite and wanting to please. I would definitely stay there again. My only complaint was that the housekeeping staff didn't do a great job replenishing what we used, but that was very easily rectified. I loved the area and the beach access was directly across the street. The beach road has so much on it, that you don't have to drive anywhere if you don't want to. I also love that every room on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th floors all have a covered balcony. Very nice to just sit and relax or watch the sunrise. We had a nice size refrigerator and a safe in our room as well. I love that! I don't think you'd be disappointed. Very nice hotel!
Hotel is in a great location with walking distance proximity to the beach. Hotel is priced well, has a nice pool/pool area, and staff is courteous. The rooms are decent, nothing overly luxurious, but they get the job done for the family stay and ours was clean.Overall I would stay again.
By far the best dang bang for your buck in OBX. I used to travel for a living and never found such an extensive breakfast anywhere else. Room and included luxuries were perfect. No complaints. The stay was great and Travelodge provided a great view on the balcony with chairs and a table.
While staying at Travelodge Outer Banks/Kill Devil Hill I experienced wonderful service. Although it was stormy and part of the hotel's power was out, the staff was extremely accommodating. Someone brought us two fans for our hotel room, since the air conditioning was not working properly. Even though it's not a super fancy hotel, the staff really make it a place worth staying. Side note: they have great coffee!
