Description

Created in response to a growing demand for corporate travel counselors in our offices nationwide, Travel and Transport’s Travel Academy is designed specifically to prepare students for entry-level corporate travel counselor positions.

Comprised of 6 travel-related courses, the Travel Academy program includes 250 instructional hours on topics that introduce the student to the corporate travel industry. Topics include corporate travel management, soft skills, geography, the reservation process, and operations. Students will engage in the practical application of the skills learned throughout the program.

Students who successfully complete the Travel Academy coursework can apply 27 credit hours towards an Associate in Applied Science degree with a focus on Corporate Travel Management (100 credit hours total) at Metropolitan Community College (MCC). The Associates of Applied Science degree program was developed exclusively for Travel and Transport in partnership with MCC.

Students who are not enrolled in MCC are welcome to enroll in the Travel Academy program. Non-MCC students will still receive 250 institutional hours, but will not receive transferrable credit hours. Non-MCC students will not receive an Associate’s degree upon completion of the program.
