I’m here in the off season. New Year’s Eve to be exact. Services seem to be somewhat limited. The restaurant in the hotel is closed for the season which forces you to forage in the local area for victuals. My room, with two queen beds is a bit cramped. Not enough floor space for working out. The bed was comfortable and wifi service is pretty speedy. The included continental breakfast is pretty slim. The coffee was pretty decent, but there wasn’t much else that interested my palate. I would have expected bread slices, butter, and jam at a minimum, but that was missing. This is an ok place to stay if you need a place to crash and no other option is available. I have no issue with cleanliness, bathroom supplies, or any of the essential things required of a hotel, but on the other hand, there is nothing that makes me want to return to this place.

Wonderful inn, room was very comfortable. Only issue, wanted to have a nightcap at the bar, and it was closed at 9:30. But, all in all, great place to stay!

Really nice place. It sits back in a little resort community that you would never even know existed. It reminded me of a cross between Colonial Williamsburg and Cape Cod. A perfect place to get away.

great staff! spacious rooms! Great view! Right in downtown manteo. Afternoon lemonade and cookies and early evening wine and cheese. Beautiful Inn! We will definitely be back.

We love this place! Room was very nice & clean and overlooked the water. The restaurant is fantastic, servers are seasoned, top-notch and Matt is one of the Best Professional Bartenders I have seen in a decade and the ambiance is perfect. Everyone goes out of their way to make sure everything is perfect! We will be back, soon!

I stayed during this recent memorial day weekend and it was great. I had the premium room. It was very comfortable and I enjoyed the wine and cheese reception. I'm looking forward to coming back very soon.

Great views and wonderful location to shopping and reaterants. Very clean and quiet. The mattress was a little old and springie and there was no fridge in room but overall a great experience.

Beautiful place, on the water, walking distance to all the shops and restaurants and gorgeous views of the docks. My husband and I stayed there the night of our wedding. The staff was so nice and helpful. The rooms are clean and very cozy. 1587 is an amazing restaurant. The staff there really made our night special. We are locals here and always recommend our family and friends and they love it as well.
