  I actually went to The Island Grille, which is the restaurant attached to Topaz. Service was prompt and agreeable. Food was tasty and reasonably priced. I had a Thanksgiving weekend special, a take on chicken and waffles with turkey, stuffing, sweet potatoes, and a maple bourbon sauce. Decent view of the ocean across the street. Not too crowded or noisy at lunch time. They offer a military discount. Decor was unremarkable. There was a bar. Outdoor and indoor seating available. Bathrooms were clean.

  Beautiful views. Historic motel. Rooms were great. Pet friendly!!! Perfect Thanksgiving week spent on the ocean. We will definitely be back again. A++

  The hotel is very reasonably priced and although the decor could use updating the grounds and rooms are clean and comfortable. The hotel is set far enough away from the hub of activity on the beach to offer you lots of relaxation and yet close enough to walk to where the action is! This is a pet friendly hotel with a very reasonable pet fee and pets are allowed on the beach if on a leash. Food service on the property and lots to eat within walking distance. The Topaz is a sweet little gem on Flagler Beach.

  The views are excellent. The rooms are okay, not great. But if coming to Flagler Beach, the beach is the attraction. The restaurant is good. Topaz is pricey for what it is, but then again, you can't beat the location or the views.

  Everyone complains about the rooms... We loved it! It's simple and super convenient. Location: 100 steps to the beach Rooms: Kitchen as soon as you walk in, then bathroom in that small hallway. Refrigerator ends the kitchen hallway and opens to the living/bed room portion. Lastly, there is a balcony with 2 chars overlooking the ocean. Pool: Salt Water. Super convenient. Overall it serves its purpose very very well.

  Older beachfront Lodge with restaurant and pool on premises. Desk staff was very courteous and gave us a great rate for the night. Room was very clean and bed and pillows were plush. Only negative was the a/c unit was very loud and the trash cans on the balcony were overflowing. Neither would keep me from visiting again. Great view of the ocean from your room or the bench in front of our window

  Listen, this isn't a five star hotel. It is, however, a great place to stay if you want to enjoy your surroundings. I have been coming here on and off for over 20 years and there is one thing I can say...the guy that's been working here all these years has made our time great. He fixed my a.c. in my room years ago and I watched him walk around tonight with another customer, dressed to go out. However, he was making sure everything was okay before he went out. Even though it has changed hands, you hung in there and made this a fun place to stay. I don't know your name, but you've been here a long time. Thanks.

  Its in a great location and the rooms are OK. The hotel has a pool which is great for Florida summers, but they're missing simple things like hand soap, and extra blankets

  Service was nice, but the room was a bit run down. All the lamps were unplugged when we came in. There was exposed wiring in the bathroom lights, and the sink didn't seem to have hot water. Still, it was affordable, yhe room was clean, and it was good for a one night stay.

  Excellent location. The people who did check in were friendly and helpful. I gave it a four do to upkeep cleaniness. The fridge had mold spots....I assume from being cut up high then low, but still. :/ Only some of the outlets worked. Close to the pier, live music, and restaurants. I picked it due to being dog friendly! And Flagler beach is dog friendly, so right in front of the hotel you can go!!

  My family and I have been coming to the Topaz for years! The location is fantastic right across from the beach. The facilities are clean and well kept. They allow dogs, which was one of the main reasons we chose it initially.
  
  All in all I love coming to the Topaz and wouldn't choose any other hotel to stay at in Flagler!
