One of America's best bike shops, if not the best bike shop. Friendly staff, super helpful and knowledgeable. Great rental program that gives you easy access to all the nearby trails for reasonable rates. This is the only shop in LA where I buy mountain bike gear. Also they have a great saturday group ride!

Really great shop. I rented from them & it was definitely the best shop I have rented from. Great bikes & prices, very helpful staff. Really chill place overall - not your average bike shop for sure (in a good way). The fact that you can ride right from the shop is great as well. If you want to do any mountain biking in the area, I highly recommend you check it out.

The shop's staff was absolutely fantastic! They offered us banana bread and coffee & were so helpful in preparing us for the ride. Will definitely be taking my dad to this shop when he comes out.

I've purchased a frame and a complete bike from these gents, and got a sizing for both as part of the purchase (stem, stack, seatpost offset, etc).
Completely satisfied, but be aware that this is a boutique with boutique prices for expensive but nearly indestructible items.response / report this review -

Probably has more character than any other bike shop. Their selection was tailored to the experience they offered and they had a very helpful staff. I rented for a day and was able to get the equipment I wanted to have my day out at Topanga.
Also, they offered amazing banana bread and locally roasted coffee. If you don't like 🍌 🍞 then get out.
If I'm ever back in LA I am coming back here just to check out the outpost and do a group ride.response / report this review -

If you Mountain Bike near Topanga, you must stop by TCB. Great crew and cool merchandise. Snacks and friendly service along with beautiful surroundings. A must visit. 👍

Throughly enjoyed my first ever mountain bike ride at the weekend and the reviews on this place didn't disappoint! coffee, banana bread and friendly staff :) the bikes were great quality and the route was challenging but really enjoyable with fantastic views.

The best money I have ever spent. These guys set my wife and I up with two fantastic bikes, and gave us maps and directions to some of the best riding I have ever done. I highly recommend you check this place out.

I am planning a trip to LA in July and want to get a mountain bike ride in while I'm there so I've been calling shops that do rentals in the area and the person I spoke to was the most friendly of any place I called by far. He gave me a run down of how the rental program works and told me about the trails there and about the MTB PROJECT trail map app. He was really helpful and I am really excited about my trip

My copilot and I flew a trip out to LA, we looked for a place to rent bikes and have a nice ride. Ran across these guys online and decided to go. Could not have had a better time and nicer folks to deal with ! If your out to see some great views and get a good work out stop by ! You will not regret it !
