Tonèl (House of Culture) located at 1236 Rogers Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11226 is Brooklyn, New York’s newest, liveliest and most interactive restaurant & lounge. Located in the heart of East Flatbush’s working class neighborhood; Tonèl open 7 days a week. Tonèl specialize in a wide array of elegant, exquisite and authentic Haitian dishes.


The bar has a wide selection of top shelf drinks and two wide screen TVs for your entertainment. The venue is sectioned in to two parts, a bar and lounge section in the front and a back room which can easily be transformed into a dance floor. During beautiful weather customers can enjoy the outside restaurant service.
In Addition to the beautiful setting and great food, Tonèl features weekly live entertainment and DJ parties.


Since its opening both Tonèl’s restaurant and stages has been braced by countless legendaries, current and upcoming artists of Konpa, Zouk and Hip Hop & R&B Music such as Beethova Obas, , Makarios Cesaire Wyclef Jean, Buyu Ambroise, Bobby Raymond, Phantoms, Gracia Delva, Jocelyne Béroard, Tabou Combo, Melodi, Dola, Zafem Band just to name a few.


Tonèl was created with the theme that values tradition and bringing the Haitian culture and total restaurant, club and bar experience back to East Flatbush in Brooklyn. Founders Jensen Desrosiers, Pierre Provilus and Lemy Raymond of the legendary band Phantoms; Tonèl and its staff is passionately dedicated to creating a restaurant theme that values tradition.
