I have searched for a veterinarian in the area up to my standards for many years. I travel almost 40 minutes to bring my animals to Tomoka Pines because the quality of care and the incredible staff are worth the drive. The receptionists are welcoming, friendly, and accommodating. The technicians are well-trained and well-versed in their field. They are friendly and you can tell that they enjoy working in this clinic. The overall environment is perfect and exactly what I was looking for. Both Dr. Avis and Dr. Long are outstanding at what they do. Both of these vets are passionate about their job and their work ethic reflects positively on the entire staff. This hospital is an ideal image of how a veterinary clinic should be operated and what kind of environment you want to portray to clients. I will continue to travel to bring my pets to Tomoka Pines because they are truly the best!

Dr. Long and staff have taken care of my animals since moving to Ormond many years ago. Not only is the care personal, compassionate and excellent, the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Would not go anywhere else with my dogs and cats!

Dr. Nick & Dr. Kelly care as much for my cat "babies" as I do. This is the best veterinary in Ormond Beach! I highly recommend this clinic to anyone with furry babies.

I have complete confidence in Dr. Long and his associate Dr. Avis to provide medical care to my precious dogs. He and his partner provide what I believe is excellence in veterinary care. On one occasion my Belgain Malinois had significant injury to her teeth playing frisbe and on another occasion required surgery to eliminate infections in her vagina. Highly recommend

Me and my husband picked up our dog from the Halifax shelter and she was infested with ticks. We were recommended to this clinic and couldn't be happier. A 20 minute visit and the issue is fixed. Love their whole team!

We switched to Tomoka Pines a few years ago after years of going to big name vets and being unhappy with the poor level of care and service we were getting. The entire staff here is amazing. It's always easy to get an appointment and they've even been great about fitting us in at the last minute when something comes up. Dr. Avis is wonderful with our dogs, it's nice to finally have a Dr. that seems to truly love animals and treats our dogs like family. The facilities are always clean and people are very friendly. I would recommend them to everyone, everything about this place is far superior to any vet we've ever been to. We will be customers for life, I'm just sad I didn't know about them sooner- it would've saved us years of frustration!
