Tommy's Treats & Tootsies™ is a non-profit organization, founded in 2021, dedicated to helping battered women & their children and the homeless population in our community. We currently operate on the frontlines, serving meals and collecting and distributing donations in the greater Phoenix area. We do direct support in the streets, shelters and homeless camps. We are dedicated to those we serve – and interacting with them allows us to better understand and support their needs. Tommy's Treats & Tootsies™ was developed in memory of our beloved son and brother, Thomas Charles "Tommy" Vaughn II. It is said that one the best ways to honor and carry on the legacy of a loved one is to continue to support a cause close to their hearts.Tommy was a loving, generous, and empathetic young man who took great pride in giving to and helping others. Whether it was stopping the car so he could give money to a homeless person on the corner or staying with a woman who was being beaten by her partner until the police arrived, to bringing a homeless person home to let them take a shower, give them fresh clothes and a nice meal – Tommy was always passionate about helping those in need. Sadly, Tommy was suddenly and tragically taken from us in 2019 at the age of 21. However, while Tommy may no longer be here with us on Earth, that does not mean that his passion and legacy cannot live on!
