For the plate price, I expected a little more engaging flavor from my meal. Overall, incredible atmosphere and fabulous staff. Just wish the focus on food was more advanced to suit the palate of more demanding customers.

I can appreciate people come to this place for a touch of class. My
family does it. We’ve been there for brunch a couple of times, for
that price you should have prime rib to satisfy all paying the brunch
price, not having to accept its the way we do it here, but we can dip
The prime in au jus to make it less bloody. I’ve had them try it , it
doesnt help. Today we had a party of five for lunch. The quality was
OK, but we waited long enough that part of our meal was cold, and

Went for thanksgiving, for $40 a plate I would have loved more variety. The staff was openly complaining about their long days besides getting awesome tips. They ran out of a few things and their desserts were not good either. Love this place for brunch but will not go back for any holiday.

Unimpressive, very disappointing. The place looks like it's falling apart. It's nearly barren and run down. I guess because they rent out and cater for events it has to be somewhat empty. But the place has a creepy feel to it. The restaurant was horrible. Terrible experience and food. I ordered the filet Mignon medallions. They overcooked them so much they were like charcoal briquettes. The waitress conveniently disappeared until our meal was already over. No point in her trying to make it right. Service was sub-par. Will not be back.

We had an intimate wedding ceremony up in their ballroom. In the past my family has come here for Thanksgiving Dinner. It's always a classy joint with great service. The staff are extremely accommodating.

What a completely wonderful place to come for breakfast!
Period poised the historic inner decor coupled with traditional service sets a perfect match which compliments this structure's outer appeal.
A fantastic variety of options finely presented in a buffet poised in the round.
Coffee..? Oh my goodness 'yes' they very much understand what it takes to make a good cup of coffee, which was most appreciated during our morning visit.
We were so pleased to have spent some of our travel time visiting family and discovering this place. Already looking forwards to our next breakfast here.

The History, The Architecture, The Service and The Food, ALL TOP NOTCH. We loved eating here then learning so much about the wonderful history of this home. The Studebaker Family who did Carriages & then the Studebaker Cars!! It is worth your time & money to enjoy being surrounded by all this. Do not miss it!

All of the food was incredible. The steak was juicy and perfectly seasoned. The soup and lobster cakes were great and there was just enough to get me excited for the main course. The apple turnover was delectable. Even the complimentary bread was delicious.
The service was also top-notch and our waiter was incredibly professional and helpful.response / report this review -

Good food, but very slow (4 course meal took 3 hours.) Be prepared to drop $40/person, if not more. Very nice scenery, but it's one of those places you only need to go to once every ten years.

Just had a holiday luncheon there today. My salad was good but colleague had to send good back 2 times before they got her the right steak. Service is dreadful. I heard at least 3 variations of 'it wasn't me' during the 1.5 hours I was there. Heaven forbid you pay with cash, which apparently had to be rung up separately from the credit cards. I'm not sure if they have new owners but please get some seasoned waitstaff.
