Tinker's Bees & Pure Raw Honey

WE ARE BEEKEEPERS!

We define beekeeping as “caring for bees”. We care for bees by providing them safe places to colonize and rescuing them from situations where they could be harmed.

We provide them with safe housing in our hives in the Northwest portion of St. Louis County. We rescue them from potentially threatening situations by collecting swarms rather than allowing people harm them. If you see bees swarming or gathered in an “odd” place, please contact us, and we will safely remove them for you.

Our bees reward us by providing us with Pure Raw Honey that we can share with others. If you need Pure Raw Honey for medicinal, sweetening, or cooking purposes, please contact us.

  Good explanation... bees collect many different colors of pollen and store it in the hive. It is like a box of crayons.

  2 warm days in a row... the bees that found this yesterday reported it to their colony and you see what happens... the first pic is yesterday and the second one is today

  February 2... 55 degrees... my bottling bucket split so I poured the honey into another bucket and put the bad one out in my backyard. Remember I keep no bees in my yard but this is proof that bees are everywhere. These girls take every opportunity possible to forage for food and they are extremely good hunters

  Pure Beeswax !!! I had some requests so I have cleaned a small amount that is now available while it lasts. The "bars" of wax are 3 ounces and the plastic clamshells have 8oz of wax pieces in them. This is a limited supply and will be available "while it lasts". This is all of the surplus wax we had this year... we let the bees keep the rest. So, if you want to make some lip balm, soap, a candle, wax your skis or your bowstring, or anything else, get it while you can.
