I have a very good experience with #408 staff and Dr. Tina Pham. I recommend her fully.
Tina Pham was a referral to me by a coworker. Before I saw her, I had some reservations only because some of the online reviews weren't that great. However, I saw her and I can report back that I had a great painless experience with this doctor, and as long as she is in practice I will be seeing her for my medical needs. She is a really good doctor, she is quick , and she listened and responded to every single question I had. She was on time for the appointment. And she even offered me advice about foods/vitamins to eat to stay healthy. She is experienced, knowledgable, and friendly. And the nursing assistant she works with was fantastic. I really like these people and had a great experience.
After waiting a long time to see Dr. Pham, she made me feel like I was inconveniencing her with my questions/concerns about the subchrionic bleeding I was having. My visit lasted a whole 5 minutes with her. Needless to say, I felt rushed and almost a burden to her! I was put on pelvic rest from the subcrhionic bleeding so the condition isn't something that should be taken lightly. AND a patient should not be made to feel like an idiot for asking questions. I vented to some of the nurses and got nods from them --as though they were used to hearing about Dr. Pham's crappy manners. The last thing during labor a women needs is to feel like a burden to her doctor. Dr. Pham seems tired of her work, she should do herself and patients a favor and retire. She obviously doesn't enjoy being a healthcare provider.
In general, I've had poor experiences with the staff. They had forgotten twice to fax in an u/s order and I could not get hold of them because the office is closed from 12 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. Talk about a waste of time just sitting in a waiting room to get an u/s. That said, even though I'm 5 months pregnant, I'll be switching to a different office. So sad because I actually think Dr. Santiago is fantastic!
