The Tidewatchers Booster Club, now in its 48th consecutive year, is an active and exciting organization that exists to promote baseball and the Norfolk Tides throughout the year at Harbor Park and in the Tidewater community. The Booster Club is always eager to add new members, and becoming a Tidewatcher is easy.
During the season Membership Applications can be found at the Information Booth behind home plate on the Concourse. During the off season and once the season is underway applications can also be obtained by emailing tidewatchers@charter.net, by attending one of the Club's monthly meetings held in the "Hits at the Park" Restaurant in Harbor Park, or by clicking on the Tidewatchers link under the Community Tab at the Norfolk Tides website, www.norfolktides.com . Meetings are usually held at 7:15 PM on the last Monday evening of each month except
December, see 2020 meeting schedule below. Benefits of membership include monthly meetings with interesting guest speakers, the opportunity to meet your favorite Tides at the annual early season "Meet the Tides" Reception, a summer picnic at which the Tides are the guests of honor, the chance to present Tidewatcher awards to individual players on the field throughout the season, the opportunity to greet the fans entering the ball park by passing out items on "giveaway" nights, a Tidewatchers Christmas or After Holidays Party, the chance to interact with others who share your passion for baseball and a monthly newsletter.
Additionally, if enough interest is generated and the schedule permits, the Tidewatchers try to make trips to Major League or out of town Minor League games during the season.
