I don't think Dr. Nguyen is rude at all! She listened to my concerns, told me what I was doing wrong and what I need to do and that's it. That's what a doctor should do. I was very pleased with my visit to Dr. Nguyen.

I waited for weeks to get on their schedule only to be cancelled the morning of because the nurse practitioner called out. When I made the appointment I was NOT told I wasn't seeing Dr Nguyen. She is the one I expected to see. Things happen, but it's unacceptable to be dismissed like it's no big deal when it comes to their patients health. I will not reschedule with them again.

I've seen Dr. Njuyen since 1989 and I've always had a great experience. Dr. Njuyen is very knowledgeable and experienced. She is direct and always smiling. She's among the best in this area.

I like Dr. N. She is a straight shooter and kind of sassy, it makes me laugh quite often. I like her approach, she comes in and gets down to business. I have mentioned many things I thought might be the cause of my skin problems and she is quick to dismiss them if she does not think they are relevant. I am a scientist and it is easy for me to accept when she says there is no cure and only a mediocre treatment. (After plenty of research on my own, I can verify this is unfortunately true). I realize this might sound very harsh for someone who is suffering and does not have access to the scientific community though. This has saved me time in my research for treatments and helped me to pinpoint a few promising avenues, and while I still suffer occasionally, she has been treating me aggressively and it has helped a lot. I really appreciate her candid and open approach to medicine. I can see how this might not be for everyone, but I find there are too many doctors who withhold information or present it in a vague way because they don't think their patient will understand it. With Dr. N, I feel I am welcomed to collaborate in my treatment and offer opinions, and I know she will just let me know if they are not relevant to the present situation. I am very direct and I appreciate that she is too, it saves me time and helps me understand my illness quickly.

Been going to her for years, and she's removed some moles, one of them dangerous. She gets only two stars for a sometimes snarky attitude and disparaging remarks when asked questions about moles I discovered during self-examination. No dermatologist should discourage a patient from trying to self-identify dangerous moles. I don't know if I'll be going back. I'm definitely in search of a second opinion.

I have been seeing this MD for two years and if I could I would give her Zero rating. It took another MD (not a dermatologist) to figure out what was going on. I wouldn't recommend her to anyone. What derm MD refers you back to general md only to be referred back to derm?????

My husband swore off ever going to a dermatologist. He had bad experiences elsewhere of waiting for up to 90 minutes after his scheduled appointment. I encouraged him to see my dermatologist, Dr Nguyen. She runs on time, she is straight and to the point. That may come across as rude but she is effective. Since I have had the experience of a biopsy problem elsewhere, it is nice that she is particular about which lab she sends her biopsies to, only one she trusts explicitly. I also had chronic acne, we tried lots of medications and creams which somewhat helped but it wasn't until I switched skin care lines at the advice of an esthetician that the complete resolution came. I still see Dr Nguyen for skin checks as does my husband, we value her punctuality, her efficiency, and thoroughness..

I did not see the doctor. I saw Sharon, I believe she registered and she is amazing. I go back each year because I have the best dermatologist. Sharon listens intently to your concerns and she won't rush you out the door. She's also available by phone if you have any concerns. I would never change my dermatologist. Sharon has helped me through my acne issues for years and because of her, my skin looks amazing. She does not sell you on fillers and lasers, she gives you sound advice for the best skin you can have.
