    Franklin at the Tile Shop was amazing with his advice on tile and design. I renovated my kitchen and two bathrooms, all down to the studs. I couldn't be happier with the results. I highly recommend Franklin.

    The Tile Shop staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and a delight to work with. We made some rookie decisions and had to return and reorder tiles and the staff was ver accommodating and helpful

    Not sure whats going on with the customer service here. They don’t seem to want your business - no quote sent for the order i wanted. I ended up going to Edward Martin and Floor&Decor who have excellent customer service and tile quality.

    We came here as we were shopping for tiles for our new house. This was the easiest and most pleasant experience that we have ever had in tile shopping. Justin was amazing to work with. When we entered the store, Justin had already picked out the tiles that we had in mind. So it was seamless and easy to finalize our selections. They also have an amazing choice of tiles in the showroom.

    I am pleased to have selected The Tile Shop. They had a variety of selections and samples to choose from. It didn't end there, the entire staff worked as a team, which made it easy to work with any team member, especially when I had to travel to different stores for urgent tile needs. My consultant, Gigi, was awesome!! She went out of her way to order extra tile (for their stock) in case I needed extra. She was super helpful and available at all times. I loved being able to contact her directly. Overall, 5 stars!

    This place is a train wreck. I drove all the way up there to pick up the tile and he pulled up the wrong one in the system. They then had to order. 2 hours of my life I'll never get back.

    Then they promised to call me as soon as it arrived and they didn't.

    They are overpriced. Never again!

    I went to both this Tile Shop location and their new Location in NW DC. This location is easier to shop around in, but the customer service isn't great. Salesmen are pushy just trying to make a sale. They're other location is more pleasant

    If you've ever said to yourself "Man, I wish there were a tile department store," then this is exactly what you've been looking for. It's got all the popular tile selections at a reasonable price.

    Bottom line: If you want to browse go here, if you want to order with better customer service check out the NW DC location. I gave 3 stars because of the hassle the salesmen gave me each time I've walked in.

    This tile shop store got a lot of customer service people. Whenever I walk in there's someone who is greeting me and offering help. It's not a cheap place but being in the industry for a long time I can tell you that if you want to get a great looking tile/stone project, you can't skimp on the quality of the material. If you want to remodel your own bathroom, their in store demo examples of the bathroom projects are a good place to start.

    After finishing my job, I tried to return an unopened box of ten tiles. I was told that the tile is discontinued, so all sales final. It's strange, because the "discontinued" tile was very much on display. I will discontinue spending my money at this store that seems to specialize in overpriced product. Floor and Decor has better selection, with prices for all ranges.

    Please don't waste your time horrible horrible horrible costumer service. I called ahead to find out if they had a specific floor tile I was told by two different people that they did have it I stock. I drive over 2 hrs to their store and no one even new what I was talking about. Short story they didn't even have the tile in stock and not even an apology for my water 3.5hr trip

    They suck. They delivered the wrong material. They charged my card the wrong value. And then screwed me on the return. Do NOT shop there.

    They gave me the wrong size tile which cause the installation to be delayed , I had to return some of the boxes and they couldnt even get the right size the second time . I had to figure it out by myself . A simple return took 2 hours !!! Not to mention the service is horrible .

    I will never be back.
    1) Way overpriced. There are just as good, much cheaper options around.
    2) I was promised 35% off, then when my sales associate rang me up, he only gave me 30%. He fixed it, but I wasn't sure if it was an honest mistake or if he was trying to pull one over.
    3) Turns out, he was trying to pull one over on me. He wouldn't show me the invoice before running my cardjust read the items to me and he added a piece that I never at any point said I wanted to buy. In fact, we didn't even discuss this piece at all. It was $58. So he actually tried to sell me something I didn't remotely need, or want, without my consent. Technically he did, sense he ran my card before I caught it. Ethical fail, and illegal.
    4) Then the wrong tile was ordered.
    5) All this from a manager.

    How many ways can you go wrong? I picked out the tile and we agreed on the price--pretty cut and dry.

    Just plain terrible.
